Thanks all for the kind words and prayers. I did not know what to do with this group. Especially after hearing the news about Ted. Thanks Harvey for posting. This morning I am starting to reply to all the post made about my wife's passing. Not as easy as I thought it would be. May take a few more days than I thought.
Sure hope I can meet the great people in this group in the future at one of the Meet and Greats.

Next year in Michigan might be the ticket.

I guess condensing 57 years into a single sentence isn’t as easy as it sounds. After we read the obit, through tears by the way, and discussing what Betty meant to us Glenda agreed “sweetness” best described her influence on us. Glenda mentioned that Betty’s pride and joy was all of the modifications you had done to the coach that made your lives better.

I look forward to the morning phone calls.

Ron,

So sorry to hear about the passing of your wife. I pray for some peace for you which will take time.

It would be great to meet with you at the next M&G. I am going to look hard to find something in MI that will be attractive to our group.

Lynne

Our thoughts and prayers go out for Tim.

Ron,
As others have said, you have many friends here, whenever you need to vent or just chat.

Good morning!

Ronj, again so sorry for your loss. Can only imagine.

Oh wow, Tim prayers that all goes well. Hopefull that things will improve and you and Joe get to join us in Yuma. It just will not be the same.

Nice phone conversation with Gordon yesterday. Been a long time since I heard his voice. Seems like they have a early winter long range forecast. To me it sounded like winter never left there. :-)

Never did get any rain yesterday, the bands from Dorian just evaporated before they reached us. No true for those on the coast. They are still getting slammed.

I didn't continue the lawn project yesterday as I thought we were going to get rain. Forecast is clear for next 5 days so will go for it again today. I have MANY buckets of soil that I pulled in earlier in the week. Today I will rake it all out with the pulverisor and prepare it for planting. Afterwards I have erosion mats to stake down as this is all on a hill side. Will also add some straw. Hopefull we will have a wet fall season and get this grass growing.

Have a great day all!

Good Morning;
Grass mowing today. Before doing that I will pick a bunch of crab apples from the tree so we can drive under the low hanging branches.

Managed to get out for several hours on the motorcycle yesterday. Feels good.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow.

Thanks Terri.
We are in Bandon, Or today, not doing anything. Beautiful ride down the coast.
Lloyd,
It is a great cycle road from Lincoln City to Bandon. Lots of curves and switchbacks.
Tomorrow, California, in the Redwoods.
Frank

Hi gang,
Prayers for Tim, hope he's doing well.
The yard looks really nice Lloyd, love the trees, it'll be great when the lush grass is there.
Well, the campground is nearly to grade, ready for trenching in infrastructure, then road stone. The sites and roads are cut in, and the beach is installed.....got to wait till next year for the palm trees (HA!)
Got a little more done on the farm out buildings as well, fencing is coming soon.
Everyone be safe & well.

Hi Ron,
Well, the plan is to return it to it's original purpose.....cattle. I grew up with Hereford cattle, my dad being a longtime member of the Hereford Association. I had thought about several uses for the barn over the years....but also fancied having cows around again too. Being I have limited pasture acres nowadays, I've decided to get into the miniature Hereford breed. They are no taller than 4ft at the hip, and cute as can be....especially the calves. It will be nice to bring some life back to the old home place.
I hope you have good luck getting your coach figured out. Frank has some good suggestions on trouble shooting. Vibrations and the like can be a bearcat to locate the cause of sometimes.
