Good evening everyone!

We spent yesterday at Jira's cousin's funeral, up north of our place, a little more than a hours drive, up in the mountains! Nice drive, beautiful winding roads! Was a nice service, and a nice Temple!

Ron, safe journey, and hope the wind is at your back, the roads smooth, and the weather is nice and sunny! And I hope the gauges are off, remember what a old timer told me once, "if the water ain't boiling out on the ground, it is probably the gauge!"

RonJ, nice place, looks very nice!

We go to Bangkok Monday, for a check up! Blood work, and then see the Dr.'s!

Everyone have a great day! Rail!❤️☕

Good morning all. Thanksgiving again today for us. Going to have turkey and dressing, ham, BBQ, enough for a small army. There will be 5 for lunch, me, brother, sister, and sister's son and wife. And 4 dogs. More will be here later in the day for leftover supper. And today sister is going to show me how to make her famous taco soup. Will freeze today and I will fill freezer for the trip to Yuma. Good stuff and I will know how to make it in Yuma. Great for warming a belly on a cool winter day.
Cool and misty all day yesterday, high was in high 50's. Then after sunset yesterday, wind switched to coming from the south and it was 70 at 10pm. Looks like a good travel tomorrow. Will either leave tomorrow or Monday for Fort Stockton.
RonJ, thanks for the recommendation of a place to stay in Fort Stockton. Last few times thru I have stayed at Hill top RV, very basic place, easy on and off, $30. Will see if I want to try a different place when I get closer.

Healing prayers to those in need.

Good morning!

Rail, please tell Jira Deb and I are sorry for her loss. Bet the ceremony is interestingly different.

Ron, that is odd that your temp is higher. Did they change the coolant? Perhaps there is air in the system? Did they drop the fuel tank to put the new line in? If so they may have crossed the gauge wires, or have them shorted. Always something to do on these coaches!

Going to headout to the flea market this morning. I have never been to the one here. Always fun to walk thru a flea market.

I have my new tablet and back country off-road navigator software ready to go. Mount I purchased from Amazon looks like it will work. Going to record Sundays ride, should be able to save it and lable it for future use.Can also share the file with others once it is saved.

Hope everyone healing is making good progress. Curtis, take it easy. Tim, a steady diet of fresh caught fish should help!

Have a great day all!

L.

Coffee is done brewing. 33° with rain this morning. Heading to 42° rain tapering of in afternoon. Rain never showed until early this morning. Got trac-vac unhooked from mower and put away until next year. Got Christmas tree up and lit. Going to be a stay in house day.
Been wearing my new glasses for 2 days with no nose or eye problems.

Rons, Fort Stockton RV Park a few dollars more. But much better park. It is at exit 264 before you get to Fort Stockton. Moslty all pull thru sites.

Rail, sorry to hear of your wife's cousin. Always hard when a family member passes.

Llyod what type of tablet did you get?

Curtis and Tim special prayers and best wishes.

Prayers and best wishes for all.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all,

Today is a travel day for us. We are starting our trek to Benson, AZ. The first leg takes us from Rio Vista, TX to San Angelo which is about four hours from here.

We stayed up far too late playing cards and having a few drinks last night. Going to get a later start than I'd like.

Ron, keep the wheels down and the coach between the navigational beacons.

Lynne, show us some photos of Tracey's lift job please.

Curtis, I hope you are doing better and that your pain is managed.

Rail, please convey our condolences to Jira.

Everyone headed out on the Jeep run today have a ball!

Good travel day today. Overnite at Fort Stockton RV Park. No issues with coach today. Started fine this morning when temp 44. Ran normal temp all day, around 190. Beautiful driving day, clear, light winds out of the north. Traffic was not heavy. Almost no truckers today. Planning on staying overnite tomorrow at Cattlemans Steakhouse just this side of El Paso. No charge if you eat there. Then Tues and maybe Wed night in Benson AZ at the Escapees park.

Pebbles is telling me she wants to take me for a walk so I best get on it.

Good evening!!!

Great progress Ron! Glad to hear all is smooth! Will you be here for next Sunday's run?

Charlie, safe travels! You will be just behind Ron. Hope you let Martha win?

Great Jeep run today. Everyone is doing so well. No tow straps needed, driving like pros between the rocks and thru the washed out washes from thim weeks rain. The big steep hill they went down last week, they all went up it!!!!!! Found a nice canyon with little wind for lunch. It was very nice.

My new GPS back country software is working well, the only problem is the learning curve. It recorded to todays route,, however at times we were running on a blank screen as when we lost cell service the maps were not there. Back at the park I researched and found out I needed to not only download them but the push the show on the screen button when wanting to use the downloaded maps instead of those from the network. Go figure!

Time goes so fast here. In 13 days we fly home for the Holiday. Will be home for 12 days then fly back.

L.

Ron glad to hear it went so well. We were worried about you because here we had some pretty stiff northwest winds all day.

We’re back at Thereabouts.
