Morning all;
Things were good yesterday. I am fine - come back in 5 years. I will now be able to time the replacement of tires with testing.

While at the family DR got some great news. DR said Janets tests came back and the cancer was localized. They found it where previous tests showed it was and the lymph nodes were clear. We are now really happy campers!

Back on the hip replacement list. Coordinator will let us know when they will consider her ready for this step.

YAHOO!

Oh - and the weather is a few degrees above freezing.

Good Afternoon all,
bap, glad to see that you are back.
Gordon, we are so happy to here that everything is good with both you and Janet, what a blessed present for the holidays.
Spritz, even though we don't know each other, we seem to become friends on here just from commenting on each others posts. Welcome aboard.
Just to let you all know, it was chilly this morning in the upper 30's, but sunshining and low 60's now, so it is not a bad day for December.
Frank

I'm not sure is it morning or night, what a day so far, 24" of snow and 8 + still expected, and last night lost our power, still out now as I type this on genny power, of course before it went out we got a surge that took out all the TV's, recording devices, blew the internal fuses on the heater. Plowed driveway, only broke one fitting and dumped all the oil from plow pump, ok fixed that now its stuck in mother in laws driveway so I'm waiting for son to come home from work to give me a tug. Could be worse, I'm warm, DW's bringing home Subway for supper and I still have coffee. ! Gordon thats the best news of the year !

Thanks all - yes we are thrilled over the news.

Terry - Our yard looked like that a couple weeks ago. Sad about all of the electronics. That is like a punch in the tummy.

Spritz - how long will you be in Quartzite? We will be in Yuma hopefully in the new year. The MH is down there right now. Waiting for clearance to head south. Ride to Quartzite occasionally so perhaps coffee if we can coordinate times.

Good Morning, much better this am, we got our power back last night , and more snow , so today will be spent digging out, but at least I don't have the business property to dig out also.

Good Morning all,
Terry, glad that you have power, after a couple more snows like you just had, you will be more than ready to head south for a while.

Good morning All, I'm sitting here (after being outside cleaning up the snow) with a big mug of hot chocolate with whip cream on top, kinda brings you back to a whole lot simpler time when all you had to worry about was ma yelling "Get Them Boots Off"

Hi Terry;
Glad the cleanup is done. Hope you do not have to do it again.

Our snow has been melting. Was able to hand wash the truck with pail of water yesterday. Been warm so the roads are slop. Janet just mentioned she hopes it snows again so the snow that is now turning brown gets covered. YIKES!

Would be nice to have a clean white landscape for Christmas. This is our first Christmas in several years with snow.

Gordon,
You can have my share of the snow. Hopefully, I have had my last close up look at snow, I plan on going where the snow isn't. Too many years of fighting it in NE Ohio, not as bad as what you and Terry have, but too much for me. It has been below normal here for the last week, it looks like the first day to reach 70* will be next Tuesday or Wednesday. The sun has been shining for most of the time, though, so not too bad.

Good morning everyone! I am glad to be away from the snow! It was a very nice day yesterday, so i decided to walk back to the apt. from the hospital, instead of taking the taxi! I normally drive the pick-up to and from, but on fridays, i have to go early, to see the Dr., and the parking is limited! So i took the bus there, and walked back home! I learned that after radiation, walking that far, climbing the stairs up and down, was not the best choice! Very sore today! So, the shopping today, will have to wait till the ibuprofen starts working! Getting old, Darn! Coffee is very good today! Stay warm everyone! Rail!
