It has been below normal here for the last week, it looks like the first day to reach 70* will be next Tuesday or Wednesday. The sun has been shining for most of the time, though, so not too bad.

I learned that after radiation, walking that far, climbing the stairs up and down, was not the best choice! Very sore today! So, the shopping today, will have to wait till the ibuprofen starts working! Getting old, Darn! Coffee is very good today! Stay warm everyone! Rail!

Good Morning;
I am not sure which I prefer. My mind making promises my body cannot keep or my mind not knowing what my body is doing. I hope we are all able to have the best quality of life for however long we are here.

Frank - if you want to share your snow with us, send it quick. Janet mentioned again this morning she would like some more snow. In a few days she may change her mind. LOL

Rail - Hope the ibuprofen kicks in quickly.

Great day to all. We are supposed to be getting some freezing rain today so will be staying close to home and hearth.

Goooood morning everyone

Hope all those coffee drinkers out there are enjoying thier first cup of Joe. It's currently 46 degrees at 8:00 a.m. and overcast in S. W. Michigan. No snow forecast till next Friday. We MAY have a white Christmas but the odds makers are scared to put it out there just yet. Been pretty mild for the last 2 weeks up here. We see other people in the country have not been as fortunate. Our prayers go out to those on the east and west coasts. Only 11 more days till Christmas. Spring is just around the corner ------ Right ?

Good Morning, Couple days and no snow! YAAA HUUU, actually they don't predict any for a week (if you can believe them) there is no problem with a white Xmas here. Supposed to be in the low to middle 30"s next ten days. Gotta get a second cup of coffee have a great day all.

Good Evening everyone,
Low 30's here last night, fog this morning, then low 70's and sunshine all afternoon. Suppose to be in the 40's now for lows , so back to normal. Terry, Glad that you are out of the snow for awhile, at least what is coming down. Gordon, enjoy the warmup while its there.

Goodmorning everyone! Well the last time I posted on here, I was complaining on everything hurting from my long walk home from the hospital. Well, it turned out I had a form of the flu, and have had a high fever for the last four days, it would spike at night, and I would wake up soaking wet,, get dry jammies and back to bed! Wow, I can't remember the last time I caught the flu, but it was nothing like this! All my joints hurt so bad, not sick or anything like that, just very sore! The med's worked very good, and very much better today! Keeping the radiation up was tough, but I worked thru it! Just finished chicken /w/rice, and coffee!!! Good!! Everyone take care, and stay warm! 7 days left, then, hopefully, I will be back home, and cancer free!
Rail!
Nice today, A/C off, windows open, 77* outside now, high of 81*, low of 67*! Birds are singing!

Good Morning All,
Rail, sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, hope that it goes away quickly. Almost done with the treatments is like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, we are all pulling for you. Cold snap finally broke yesterday, now in the upper 40's to low 50's at night and low to mid 70's during the day, so back to normal, YEAH!!!!.
Frank

Good Morning All, A little dusting of snow this am, this time of year we will get these little snow "events" from what they call lake effect, when the wind blows over the great lakes, we are along ways away so we just get a little from time to time, just enough to be annoying. Hope everyone is doing well, have a great day.

Good Morning;
Had a great weekend. Visting with friends, planning a motorcycle trip next summer, gift buying completed. Ah - life is grand.

Now I have to figure out how to wrap the presents without Janet seeing me do it. Unfortunately her hearing and eyesight seem to improve whenever I try to do something sneaky.

Santa brought me the present I asked for early. Janet got a clean bill of health. Surgery caught all of the cancer. No chemo or radiation is prescribed.

Good Day All, Gordon, with news like that who needs presents . So glad everything worked out. Isn't it funny how the DW's in our lives get better hearing and we get worse (my mother used to say selective) hearing.

Good morning, everyone! What great news, Gordon! And the best Christmas present ever! Send her off shopping, and wrap everything while she is gone? Or, like me, use the Gift bags, and tape them up good so she can't sneek a peek!
The coffee is tasting very good this morning, even if it is Dcaf! 4 more days, and i am done with the radiation, and on my way back home! I give the vampire nurses my blood today, to check the PSA level's, and see the Doctor tomorrow! Rail!
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Good Morning, Rail, Thats great news to be almost done with radiation, I'm sure it will be nice to be home and get back to a "normal" day again. I drink Dcaf all the time, DW says I don't need caffeine .
