Looks good Ronspradley, I don't normally care for blue on a coach, but that really looks good. I may have to change my mind on the blue after seeing how good yours looks.

Good Morning Gang,

Wow what a beautiful summer so far! Temp went down far enough to shut off air conditioning last night and it sure was nice sleeping.

I have been so busy doing stuff around the house, with the MH, and in the yard that I have barely been on here. W--k consumes too much of my time too, will have more in 23 months.

Coffee is excellent this AM. Toast is pretty good too. Going to take MH in today to see about getting side window replaced. It is a dbl pane and is broken so is a safety issue and needs to be replaced. Just not something Jerry and I want to tackle ourselves.

Otherwise, hope all here are doing well. Take care and enjoy your summer. Lynne

Morning all. Coffee/cocoa good this morning. Clean up this morning, putting away all of the junk I used in putting some paint on old MH. Then back to house to visit my family. That paint I selected (with DW approval) was one of two turquoise I found, was looking for 1955 Chevy Regal Turquoise metalic, and found this color also. Got samples, and selected this one. Trying for '50's RV colors like on old Shasta and Mobile Scout trailers. Still more to finish up. Should be another 103 degree day here. May have to head for the hills in a couple of weeks to cool off. Have a safe day everyone.

It will be a great improvement over the old faded stripe and maroon paint. Just remember this is going to be a 20/20 paint job. Looks good from 20 feet at 20 mph.

I will join you in painting on my 5er this winter, am going to try a small roller to paint the stripes back on, once I remove the curled up decals. I won't be able to use a spray gun due tho the proximity of other units. It might not look like a professional job, but it will be better than the shrunk up and pealing decals.

I like that turquoise too , wish plum wasn't my mom's favorite color , I would have done that too ,,,,,,,,,,,,hell maybe next year , mine's a rattle can job too . Krylon , no runs no drips no errors , except it was too cold and mine ran in a few places ! 20mph and 20 feet away sounds about right.

What did the doctor say to the pirate ????????

Open wide and say arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Good Morning Gang,
Coffee good this morning, weather a little cool, but still good, lots of blue sky. Had our 4th of July fireworks last night, was way too wet on the 4th so they postponed it. Made for a very nice evening.
Have a good day all,
Frank

goooodmorning folks,,,coffee great this morn and well needed....lol,,,

love the pirate jokes...to be flat out honest ive never bheard any of them...

and just about anything looks better than worn out decals,,,,-----i really never understood why the would put stick on,s on such things as high priced units even cars like say shelby mustangs or camaro,s that cost like 70k let alone a 100k rv. when new im sure they could have painted them on----we sure pay enough for it...lol
stat safe on this day my friends...

Bap,
I agree with you, but finding a good painter and meeting EPA and OSHA standards for paint and painters just make it too expensive for the beancounters to put up with. A lot of the manufacturers sub out the full body paint to subcontractors in the Elkhart area.
