Good Morning, everyone!! Coffee is very good today, only got one cup yesterday, so three today!!
Been very busy here, and the MH search is still going on! They are popping up all over, but I am still trying to find one close to my son's house, so easy for him to go look at it and get if needed! Wading thru all the one's is fun though, so still looking! The right one will fall out of the sky, sooner than later! Not in any hurry, so I can be picky!!
Sounds like everyone is, getting ready for winter, so enjoy it! We don't see much of a change here, hot all the time!
We have not made definite plans for the next year trip yet, but still thinking about around the 4th of July, and trying to make it to Jays! This years trip was a little early in the year, as we saw snow, and a lot of the campgrounds were still closed for the winter!
Has anyone heard from MK (Mike) and his chemo treatment? Just wondering if I missed something? Hope all is going OK for him and his treatment!
Bap, how is the "Vintage Campground" idea coming? Just wondering?
Gordon, I remember that CG on my shopping trips to Yuma, from Algodones, Mx.! On the right, by the river! Very nice!
Frank, glad you could stop by Lloyds, and meet him and his DW!! Safe travels on down to Florida!
Terry, sad to put the TH up for the winter, but nice not to have to worry about it! Make sure your insurance is up to date, as it is out of your control now, and you never know about the next guy who parks in there, forgets his water heater is on, throws the cover over it, and the building catches fire!! I have had a couple of buddys do that, one dropped his insurance down because he was not driving it, (on a vintage Austin Healy) and the storage caught fire, it was a total loss, and he recouped very little! Just Say'n!
Everyone take care, and drive safe! Rail!

Morning All!
42 here this morning, blue sky no clouds in sight. Looks like its going to be a nice one!
Had a really nice day yesterday, Frank and Rita are fun. Last night we cooked some steaks on the grill, baked a few potatoes and had a nice salad. The ladies had some red wine, and Frank and I had a little Mr Jack and cokes.
After dinner we all went to Frank and Rita's site (site #1) and had a nice campfire. There was a little wind out of the north, it was a little cool, but the campfire took care of that. Great time.
They are off to Florida this morning, well I think they are stopping in Georgia at the 1/2 way point. Really enjoyed meeting them. Hope they enjoyed the peace and quite. One of the advantages of a 1 site park is there is no noise from the neighbors! LOL
Rail, keep up the RV search. The right one will come. Half the fun is the shopping.
L.

Good Morning, Rail, good to hear from you, glad your thinking about Jay's 4th of July I think its going to be a good time. The guy that owns the building where we put the TH in lives right next to it, he is very picky he wanted to make sure that there was no batteries hooked up, (preferred no batteries) and just kinda asked a few questions as we dropped it so I think its a great place to park it. We took our batteries out so we could maintain them here. Lloyd, nice to meet the folks we have been talking with for over a year, best part is they are as nice in person as they are on here . I need more signatures on my TH so looking forward to meeting more of everyone. Very cold here this morning, 24* and a dusting of snow . Gotta get more coffee, Have a Great Day All.

Good Morning Gang,
Coffee is really good here this morning at Lloyd,s Paradise. Washed the 5er yesterday, and boy did it need it, then played a little in Lloyd's shop, fabe a bracket to hold the terminal strip box on my trailer wiring and Lloyd welded it on. came out nice. We had a really good time here and can't say enough how Rita and I appreciate the Hospitality that Lloyd and Debbie have shown us.
Lynne,
Yes it has been great being able to meet some of the people that post on here.
Rail,
Glad that you are back with us, we know that you will find the right MH when the time is right. We hope that you can make it to Jay's for the 4th of July.
Well gang, have to get going so we can get ready to leave. Have a gret day all,
Frank

Good morning, all. 35 degrees here in Hannibal, Missouri. The coffee is good. Local crafts festival was really crowded, but had great food. We stayed so long, we missed the car show in Quincy. Interesting picture of the dusting of snow on your truck. Brr. I guess we should all get in that mode. I will host at a campground next month. The only issue I need to deal with is the water lines running to the kitchen sink like to freeze at 30 degrees. They are not in the heated basement area.
I hope Mike is doing OK with his chemo, also.

Good Morning Everyone! Hope all are well! Going over to finish the ceramic tile in the rental house downstairs. Had our plumber friends put the new/used gas boiler in from the other house we sold, works great! The best thing is the moron upstairs who co-rents has the digital thermostat upstairs in the lock box that he showed me he could open with a butter knife, but we put a new thermostat downstairs and unhooked his! The plumbers went up to fix the toilet and I got in there to see the destruction of the walls in the bathroom , those bast*** never said a word about a leak and just shoved empty shampoo bottles in the holes! He thinks he is a Jailhouse lawyer. I told him I have a real lawyer and he is not on a lease, they are out! The good thing is our friend the plumber wants to buy the house for his kids. I wanted to keep it for the yard space but now i'm done, time to let go. Sally hates the house anyway , has some childhood horrors it keeps reminding her of as she was born there in 1942. It will make her happy to be rid of it. Going to put the other rental house with a reputable property management co and let them send us a check, might cost a few dollars but will free us up to roam! Probably will move into our basement apartment in our house and rent out the upstairs. Am keeping my driveway and garage though! Then get the hell out of here! Sorry for rambling, just so damn frustrated with some of these lowlifes around here! Be Well, Bobby

Good Morning Gang,
Terry, brrr sorry you got that stuff but I guess the sooner it gets here the sooner it will be gone.
Lloyd, nice quiet spot. Looks peaceful. Frank and Rita safe travels.
I feel for all of you in the cold climes because it is here too. It's strange to imagine being out of here in a few winters considering I have always lived in a cold state during winter. First Nebraska and then Iowa and now Michigan. I'm sure I will adjust just fine to it, may not even want to come back. Just look forward to being warm and being able to take a walk when I want to and no heavy coats.
Sunny today and beautiful outside even though it is just around 45. This time of year I am just grateful for none of the white stuff and anything over 30. Have a great day all.
Heavenly Father we thank You for watching over MK during this illness and ask that you help his family too. Amen
Lynne

Bap,
Glad to hear Debbie is OK. You have to be strong when your lungs are not working correctly. Have you seen the electric fire pits? I was thinking if you make a CG at your place that she could still enjoy a campfire with something that didn't give off smoke. Just a thought.
The deer are doing you a favor since you don't have to pick up all those apples. They are also very nice to watch.
Rail, I still look at rigs even though we bought one because I like looking. The right one will come along. Best of luck!
Lynne

Lloyd - LOVELY site at your house.
We are under clouds in Yuma. It has been threatening to rain here for several days. So far we have only had a 6" rain (drops are 6 inches apart).
Next door neighbours pulled in day before yesterday and the spot two over yesterday so the park is starting to fill up, slowly at the moment but the rush is coming.
Good to hear everyone is doing well and moving along.
Bobby - it sounds like you have reached a decision point and have decided to move on. Good for you. Peace of mind is worth it. It is so frustrating how folks can be so careless when someone else owns the property. It is not that they don't know, they are deliberate!
Rail - sounds like you are enjoying the "hunt for RV". There are so many choices out there and so many good rigs that a final decision will be tough. It will happen though.
BAP - lovely picture of your wild live stock. Pick up and fertilizing at the same time. Most efficient and effective. We have some deer and a couple moose winter at our home. We had a young moose live in our yard a few years ago. She finally moved on.
Thanks for the picture Terry. It does bring home the change of seasons. It makes me start to think about going home at Christmas. I enjoy winter but like the warm just a little bit more.
Have a great day everyone.

Sorry have not really felt well lately to post but I am still kicking. The first round of chemo was for five days in MD Anderson lasted for 7. Two blood clots and fluid in lungs delayed me getting out. I actually have to go to chemo down there tommorrow. It is just a day thing this time. They are going to do an ultrasound of my leg..that is the clot they are worried about...and hopefully it is doing well.
Since my leukemia is acute there are two different chemotherapy treatments and they alternate each month...so I don't know what to expect in a few weeks when I go back..but this one stripped my immune system and I cannot be around people. With the holidays coming that one's gonna hurt...
I cannot begin to express the gratitude and how touched I am for all the prayers and good thoughts and we'll wishes that have been sent my way.
THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART...words cannot express how everyone makes me feel.
Side note a year and a half ago I had a gastric sleeve because at 490 I knew I was going to die if I didn't do something..before this leukemia started I had lost 206 pounds but in the past two weeks I have dropped another 20...Total loss of 226 I am at 264 just might hit my ultimate goal of 250....the hard way...lol
My spirits are still high because of all of you.
Hang on to what's important cause you never know when it will be gone...much love to everyone I will try to update when I can..
