Good Morning Gang,
Had a brief humidity shower yesterday afternoon, had to turn A/C on yesterday, it got warm. Had dinner outside last night and no skeeters, I sprayed off around the perimeter of the picnic table. Not sure if that helped or if the skeeters are just gone.
Lloyd,
Good breakin procedure, hadn't thought of the Regen, that is a good idea to check that out before going out on the road.
Jay,
Glad that it is starting to dry out. Nice bath. Hope that you can close soon on the house so you don't have that worry on you.
Have a Great day all,
Frank

Morning all!

Frank, glad you had dinner outside and the skeeters didn't!

Yep, tomorrow morning I make about a 50 mile run each way to get the regen done. Hope it all works good.

They seem to have modified our forecast for the week, now its rain every day! We got 2.6" yesterday. My pond siphon system was pushing water out, fun to watch.

Jay, best of luck with the house sale. It just takes one buyer.

Have a great day all!

Goooodmorning!!!

Hot coffee, cold morning. Still raining even though they told us it would stop yesterday and we were to have 4 days of sunshine starting today.

I know the house will sell, just a slow period for sales.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Beautiful sunshiny day out there and going to 70. MI right! I will take it while it lasts because next week I may be crying my eyes out. Coffee was great too!

Mike, love camp fires, nothing more relaxing. Burning brush we took down right now and not quite the same but still nice and the mess is gone.

Going to cut my last rhubarb today. Not sure if I will make a pie or freeze it for later. Probably going to have enough for 3 more pies with what is in the garden. Sorry Frank, not sure I can mail you one.

Llyod, good luck on the regen. Sure would be nice to have that all behind you and to get on the road and have some fun.

Got to go, need to mail out a package. Watch for it Frank, it's coming your way.

Have a wonderful day all, Lynne

Good morning. Temps in the low 60's here this morning. I am having great coffee around the fire. A pickup with travel trailer came through a few minutes ago, then left soon after. Perhaps he did not like the campground, or else he did not like the fact the maintenance guys turned off water to individual sites. I have the only FHU site, but the crew is careful about turning off shallow water lines this time of year. It depends on what kind of camper you are. We have water available to fill up fresh water tanks here. Deer season starts in ten days, so it should get busy by then. I am sorry for all of you who had to winterize. I will have to eventually, also.

Low 60's this morning and yesterdays coffee was not too bad this morning.
About to head out to feed the Homeless again. Agreed to help some friends who do this every Wednesday. They say you either fall in love with it or you don't.
I'm not to sure it's my thing, so I'm going to give it another try.

But, I did meet a man from a Church in Little Rock last week who is putting together a team to go to Hati to help rebuild some of the housing and help get them back on their feet. That's more on my thing. They are building houses and getting Farming restarted. Solar and wind generators are their main power source right now. So that's right up my alley.

We'll see if I end up doing this kind of Missionary Work.
Like I said, building stuff is more me than feeding a bunch of Drug Addicts and Motivtaionally Challenged. (Most Truly Homeless Families that lost their jobs are in Shelters. These folks today are camping out in tents in a Public Park and have no concept of working to get back on their feet. Many will sell their free fresh bedding we give them for a bottle of whiskey.)

Ya'll have a great day!
Tomorrow we flood, AGAIN!
So I'm riding my motorsickle today while I can.

Hi All!

The regen process is interesting, they did it outside of course and allowed me to watch the Tech's laptop. My exhaust got to 1,039 degrees! Ran like that for about 35 mins. Once completed the engine dropped idel and had to run for 10 more mins to cool to normal operating temp. Anyway, all is good! Take a deep breath of fresh air, I am not poluting!

It runs better than it ever did. Much more low end power. I guess it was bad when we bought it.

Have a great day all!

Hi People, hope all are doing well! Busy bouncing around from doing work on the apartments and my glass business. Didn't do so well on hiring help, kid was 23 did a adequate job helping , but nodding out at 10 am driving my work van was not good! He also refused to listen to my requests not to run red lights or inch past crosswalks as we have numerous redlight cameras here that automatically send a $85plus 30 surcharge ticket to the OWNER of the vehicle! Sally drove him home on his last day of work and asked him straightup if he was doing Heroin, as he had all the signs of it. I could not expose myself or her to that liability. He said it doesn't matter if we want to pay him less than we were, he would work for less ! Sally explained that as long as he couldn't follow simple requests to not get tickets and to nod out when driving it would not matter if he worked for nothing! He never called back to say he would do better or anything so it was meant not to be! I might be going to Florida this year looking like a HOBO , towing our Dakota Convertible Pickup in primer. Can't find anyone up here that wants to work and paint it? I would do it myself but the paint I want requires a Air Supplied Respirator for me to wear when I use it and my garage is to packed to get it in there. I sprayed that paint before on a friends car without the respirator and puked up red metallic paint for three weeks after that, not looking to repeat that performance! Hope the Campground where Frank hangs will let me in like they did last year, LOL! It will look presentable by todays standards I suppose as I see Porches' in gray primer all the time! Would really like to get it finished first though! Lloyd, great news you got your Cummalong running good again! See ya all on the "FlipFlop" , old trucker slang! LOL@ Bobby
