Good Morning Gang,

Sorry, been working a lot of overtime and have been beat when I got home at night. It's been frosting the windows at night here but the days have been mostly sunny and warmer. It's beautiful for MI especially for this time of year.

I just sent Bap a text. Will let you know if I hear something from him. I also have Debbie's number if he doesn't respond. They often gets busy.

Gordon, Jerry and I read manuals too. That is how we have been learning most of the stuff on our MH. Helps to understand how things work that way and of course reading threads here also helps a lot.

Rail, You'll find the right rig when the time is right. So wish I could go to OK in July but it is so far from here with limited time off work I just can't make it this year. I'm real good with a paint brush and landscaping and sewing. Might be able to help out with something.

Otherwise, coffee has been great especially with the cooler weather. Sunny and 42 right now and I will take it!

Bobby, we winterized our rig and it wasn't bad at all. When we met up with Frank he ran us through it. We'll see in the spring if we got all spots covered, but I think we did.

Well, got to go work on laundry. Working overtime leaves more work clothes to do and les time to do it. Check should be kicking though. Have a great dayand hope all are doing well.

Goooodmorning!!!

Coffee hot & fresh. Considering make a run to my fav coffee roaster and pick up a pound from them. Cafe Vita is so perfectly roasted. Only have it as an occasional treat because it's $15+lb.

Typical WA weather today. Very windy yesterday with heavy rain for here. Today just breezy but steady rain. Warmer though.

DW made some oatmeal scotchies last night. She asks me should she make a full or 1/2 batch. I say they never last long make a full batch. So 1/2 batch it is and they are nearly gone.

We heard for the couple that looked hard at the house. They decided not to make an offer even though they loved the house. She has a dog training biz and wants to set up an agility course. They yard is fenced and plenty large enough however the electric coop has an easement that goes through the center of the yard and they were concerned they couldnt build what they wanted.

I wish we could talk to them directly since in the 25+ years we have lived here they have used that easement 3 times. Once to put in a gravel path (which we put a lawn on top of) once to trim trees along the lines and once to clear some storm drains.

So as long as whatever they build can be moved aside they can do whatever they want. We always get a 2 week warning before they come through.

Well, I better get to work on this months newsletter for Liberty Farms. It needs to be ready to go out by Sunday evening and there is football to be watched tomorrow as well.

Finally, our thoughts and prayers are with France today and our differences with them are set aside for now.

Have a blessed day my friends.

Good Morning Everyone! Coffee was good today, only had one cup, and washed it and put it up, so I guess that was all I needed!
Well, the MH in Florida was a " No Go " My friend and his wife and one of his cabinet making buddies all went to check it out for me! It was a 1990 Monaco Crown Royal, Signature Series, L-10 Cummins, 4 speed OD Allison, 2 speed rear end! Very nice coach, but,, the generator was gone? It had a lot of other issues too, like the speedometer and tach not working, the cruise control, along with the fridge, the dash air, no TV's, on and on!
So, we will see how the one in NY goes with Terry and Eleanor tomorrow?
Hope it is better, and not rusted away to nothing! Fingers crossed!!
Tim, that is just crazy? Maybe you laptop?
Mine has been messing up too, the mouse is going crazy, might be time to take it to the shop and get it serviced? Might be the darn Cat!!
Everyone have a great day! Rail!

Good Morning Gang,
Coffee good this morning.
Lynne,
Putting in a lot of OT the last couple years before retiring will help the final average salary when it comes time to figure what you get for SS. I am sure that you did good on winterizing.
Rail,
I hope that the MH that Terry & Eleanor are going to look at will turn out to be the one.
Tim,
Good luck on your MRI, hope everything turns out good for you.
Jay,
Sorry that the couple backed out on you, hope the next ones through the door will fall in love with it and take it off your hands.
Have a great day all,
Frank

Good Morning All,

Coffee is excellent and not having to get up and run out first thing is pretty darn good too.

Frank, Went to the SS office and talked with them about 2 weeks ago, The top 35 years of earning are what they base on. I had a few low years out of school and hen 11 years off to raise children and so I have 4 low years in my 35 yr count right now. Even retiring at 64 (early) will remove 2 of those low years and bring up my SS payment. If I work 2 months in 2017 it eliminates one of those low years. If I work 6 months it raises things even more so am looking at doing that too.

Figure with retiring in Feb, we're not sure about taking MH and driving it in MI in winter with salt on the roads. So if wait until May or June of 2017 we can enjoy the summer and not have to drive the MH out in winter salt. Also get to put more money away for gas and CG fees and increase the SS even more. Just keeping our options open to work best for us. June 2017 is it though.

Didn't hear from Bap yesterday so will call them today. Hope all is well and they are just busy.

Rail, you'll find the right MH and be glad the others didn't work out. Everyone have a good day. Another beautiful one here, 61 and sunny in MI right?

Good morning from Missouri. Frost on the ground and the coffee tastes good. Six camping units here last night, one has left already. The hunters did not score yet. While I was out and about this morning, there was a deer on each side of the road. One deer waited for me to come to a complete stop before she crossed in front of me. We have good safety education in Missouri, I guess. I was recruited to help paint the interior of the shower house tomorrow. The good news is that means I turn up the thermostat tonight. Lynne, this overtime will make you appreciate retirement more when it comes. Prayers for a good MRI outcome, also. 15 day countdown to winterization. That will be sad.

Good Morning Everyone! Coffee was very good today!
Gosh, Tim, Sorry for the bad luck! The last time I was in MSP, I was sitting on the west side of town waiting for my pick-up appt. time, which was downtown at the conv. hall, and I got the call from corp. for a random drug test! Remember, I am in a semi, and have a 53' trailer! So the clinic they want me to go to is on the east side of the city? Do they have truck parking, I ask? Sure, no problem they say? So I get there, of course they were talking about pick-up truck parking? I find a place to park 70+' of semi, walk to the clinic, do my deal, and back to my truck, there is a cop sitting behind me, with his lights on? So I explain everything to him, he says, ok, gives me a warning ticket and tells me I have to leave? OK, where to go now? Still 4 hrs. till my pickup time, so I go to the civic center, find a place to park, go check in, they tell me I am 4 hours early, DUH? But it did all work out, my stuff was ready, and they got me in and loaded up early!
Bap, glad to hear from you, we were all getting worried?
The Itasca DP MH with a 18' slide out, was, to say the least, a little rough, but would have worked with a little love! It had about 3k worth of things that needed fixed and replaced, and the no propane thing, that left too many unanswered questions if the furnace, WH, stove, and generator worked or not? Also, the water sys. would have been a gamble too? So, another (no go). So I will keep looking, and the right one will pop up?
Everyone have a great day! Rail!
