Good morning, everyone! Well the coffee is tasting very good today! The rains have stopped, and the sun is out! Still very cool this morning, low 50's, and the same for tomorrow, low 51*! Then it is supposed to be warming back up! Our houses over here, we have two of them, and neither have furnaces, but we have added mini split A/C units with heat built in, and it is nice to knock the chill out in the mornings! This is a tropical climate here in Thailand, but we live up north, in the mountains, and it get's cooler at night in the winter, than it does down south, on the coast! I know you all are freezing your butt's off back home, and I hope you all are staying warm! Also, a lot of the cars over here do not have heaters in them either! Just no need, I guess, but they all have A/C!!
Gordon, safe trip back to Yuma!

Good Morning Everyone, Heat wave this AM 28degs maybe up to 35degs today then back in the celler. Sounds like most of us are warming a little, some will be warming alot (Gordon), Lynne, whats the temp out your window? we like the torture, but feel better about our weather if someone else has worse, so far Gordon wins. Gordon is right, they like spending my money! LOL Rail, no heat in the cars ether? wow that would take some getting used to, the windows don't fog up? Gordon, you should be on the plane by now, or close to it, safe travels, going for the second cup of coffee, have a great day all.

Yes, Terry, we have a 2007 Toyota Hilux Vigo diesel P-up, never really noticed, but last year when it got cold, I told Jira, the DW, just to turn the dial to the red! She told me, its all blue, no red? HUH? So looked when she got home, sure enough, the dial is all blue! I opened the hood , no sign of a heater!! But, her sister just bought a new Nissan Almera, and it has a heater, so not all have the heater delete! The windows never seem to fog, as the A/C is on most of the time! Coldest I have seen over here is 48 last winter! This winter 50 has been the coldest!!
I Know, Poor Baby!!! Hahahahaha!!

Hi All,

Left work early because husband was snoring this am at 0200 and woke me up. Could not get back to sleep and patient load was light so I boogied out.

Terry, It was 25 this am. Cup of coffee drank in the car on the way into work tasted great. I have 3 more winters in MI then I will be down somewhere warm in the cold months. Thus, the need to buy that MH.

Spritz, Sorry about the bad back. I hear you as I have had 2 spinal fusions and still have 5 buldging discs. I use an inversion bench which has helped me a great deal. My pain level has gone straight down to almost nothing with it and not needing meds. Wish you lived closer, I would invite you up to test it out.

Rail, Why Thailand? Just curious.

Well, going to take a nap and see if I can catch up on the little I got last night. Talk with ya all later, Lynne

Frank and Gordon,

I'm not shy about asking questions but keep finding the info I want in the old threads. We have a lot to learn but then the subject is really interesting to me so I read a lot.

At this point we want a gaser and used. Two slides and around 34 to 38 feet depending on the floor plan. I have been close to buying twice but not quite. One a Newmar and another a Monaco. Also looked at a Georgie Boy but want to stay with a higher end unit.

Would like table and chairs but is not a deal breaker and DO NOT want Leather anything. Just not a fan. We will be towing a Prius so will buy a dolly when time comes. Otherwise, I just keep looking. We have a RV show coming up near me soon and have been to others. Many dealerships and video after video of how things work.

But, I will ask when I have questions. If I find the right rig, I will probably come down to the meet and see Terry and Eleanor's 5th rebuild.

So, hope you all had a great day and will be in contact in the future, Lynne

Good evening, Rail, thats cool not to have a heater (or need one) Tim, I don't have patience to sit and fish, more power to you, only thing I ever did on a frozen lake was race cars, and they had heaters! I've heard good things about the inversion tables, I have gone to a sports dr and he used a machine to stretch me that helped also. It got up to 42 degs here today tomorrow is supposed to be 8 degs crazy. Lynne, I know also what its like to wake up and not be able to sleep, hate it, knocks my whole day off. Its fun to look for MH but after a while it can be frustrating too. well have a good night all. Gordon should be in warmer weather by now.

Well Lynne, I will try to keep this short, hahaha!! I was a O/O(owner/operator) trucker who spent most of my life gone. I decided to start traveling around the world a bit, as I always wanted to do that. Well a buddy and I decided on a trip to Thailand and Asia sounded like a good time! Well, it turned out, I met the woman of my dreams, here in Thailand, and after going back and forth for over a year, I got married then I made the decision to sell everything, and move over here, as my wife has 10 more years of working, and I was close to retirement anyway! So that has been a couple of years ago, and we come back to the states a couple times a year, and have a MH, to travel around in! My buddy that I came over with also just got married to a Cambodian woman, and retired and moved over to Cambodia! He is about 500 mi.s away form me, so not too far! I love the tropical climate here, and do not miss fighting the winters out delivering slot machines to the casino's all over the country! That is what I used to haul, new ones to the casino's, the old one's back to Vegas! So now you know the rest of the story!! Rail!

Morning fellow MH/TT/5th wheelers,Tent campers, Did I miss anyone sorry if I did...
-10 W/C -20 I think I'm going bonkers.
Need more coffee.
Well didn't get the call to go fishing It's just me and my brother and we have a good time talking of years past... Some Fish but it's nice to get out of the house even if we sit in a Ice House /TT has everything from Microwave to TV's,3 burner Stove,Water/Heat/AC(not needed now) 2 small gennies and 6 fish holes. Quite the set up from Truck to fish house a package deal bought it last year, from a old fisherman. It came with a plow too, I guess to get to that favorite spot.
I did get out yesterday afternoon and fired up the old gal (PA)she was so cold (+ 1 degree's) and turned over so sloooow. She fired up after the 3rd time turning the key.
With in 20 minutes, 60 degrees, Furnace, New electric space heater and the heater in the rear. I could start to take off the layers of clothing. I vacuumed, even used the crevice tool to get into all the nooks and crannies.
I'm having trouble (kinda) with the gennie she did start right off but then quite and wouldn't restart. I didn't push it because we are having trouble with the electric choke. I got out and started it @ the unit and she fired right off with me playing with the choke. The choke is the trouble, I have too reset it everytime I use it. Is it suppose to get that hot? I mean instance burnt fingers HOT. We replaced it last spring, worked fine all summer started inside MH also. Any Idea's
Have a Great Day every-one,
Tim

Good afternoon.

Am in Yuma. Most of the stuff is out so we are set up for the rest of our stay. Grilling for dinner. 75 here today. 56 overnight.

There is a spot almost beside us that will be vacant tomorrow. I can put your name on it if you wish.

evening all,

It was 1 degree this am and 14 on the way home from work. (got to quit using that 4 letter word, shame on me). Got plenty of sleep last night and needed it since today was not so nice, busy busy busy. I will not miss this at all.

Gordon, I am on my way (I wish) because I am sick of the cold and want out. At this point I think I could live in my Prius.

Your right Terry, I am kind of getting sick of looking at MHs now and at first I didn't think that would happen. BUT, until I find the right one I will keep looking.

Have any of you gone into Mexico in your travels with your RV, MH.

Hope you all had a good day, see you in the morning as I don't work on Wednesdays. Lynne

That was a great movie I have both of them. Never got to do ice racing but have had some fun on a snowmobile on the lakes.
Up sure would be nice to head south.
Ohappydays
