GooooooooooooodMornig!!!

Dang we had one heck of a Thanksgiving. 2 Days of cooking and prep.

Had an unexpected guest drop in. Our kids went to school with Josh Harris of Deadliest Catch. He dropped by and had dinner with us. Even scrubbed all the dishes and pots. Good kid.

I took a class on making truffles on Friday. Learned a few tricks I didnt know. Will be putting those to use.

Not much else new.

Yeah, Bobby, seems the ad line on the right side is getting bigger too!
Well, guess the "powers to be" have to pay for the upkeep?
Still the best site, bar none! Rail!

Goooooooooooooood Morning!!!!

A bit warmer here today thank goodness. Had enough of those frosty mornings.

Some of the truffles I made in class last Friday. Will be making about 300 of them today along with 20 lbs of toffee and 500 liquid center cherries. Christmas gifts. Posting pix of them on Facebook and will take orders with proceeds going to Liberty Farms. NO idea if I will sell any cause they aint cheap. I use Guittard chocolate. As good as Godiva truffles but I'm selling them for less than they are. We'll see.

I have had calls in to several different folks with ads on Craigslist for coaches. Only one of them ever called me back and he had already sold it. Rail I gave up on the ones up here for you. Never a peep.

Wishing you all a blessed day.

Looks very good. Chocolate - one of the four food groups.

Wish I had smell-o-vision and taste-o-vision!

Good evening, all and you truffle fans, as well! The move to St. Peters (Missouri) Lakeside Park campground was interesting due to the rain, but we made it OK. The coffee was good this morning, but I keep thinking I need to check the campground! The maintenance guys were planning on shutting down the shower house back at Onondaga today. It is scheduled to be started up again on March 1. We will enjoy "citified" camping here. It is very close to shopping, food, etc. I hope all is well with those who participate on the forum.

Good morning everyone!! Coffee was very good today!
Jay, no worries, he probably sold it as I see the ad is gone! Could have took the time to call you back tho?? Man those truffles look good!
Flaggy, glad you got settled in, and yes, lots to do and see around there!
I have come to the conclusion that the old adage " If it sounds to good to be true, probably is ", when it come to the deals on craigslist! It sure makes it hard for the people with the "real" ad's tho! I am like Terry, and I research the address and phone #'s first, make sure they match! Well, I will keep looking, and sooner than later, "the one" will appear! I am in no hurry!
Everyone have a great day!! Rail!

Morning all!

58 degrees here, supposed to get a lot of rain today. 3rd day of rain in a row.

Hard to sleep last night, we have what I think is a great horned owl (he was here about 8 months ago) who took up position in our yard near the house last night, and called for his/her mate all night. Pretty loud. If its the same one as last time, big bird! If he does it tonight I may have to find away to move him further away, without hurting him.

I have had great luck on craigslist, both selling and buying a number of times. But common sense (why do they call it that? it really isn't common?) must prevail. There are crooks out there, but there are signs that they are crooks long before you confront them. Always good to take someone with you. And my buddy S&W bodygaurd.

Those truffles look good! As I sit here with my oatmeal.

Good Morning All,

Well, the coffee sure is good this AM. 32 this AM but it was 44 when I left work yesterday. Amazing weather for MI.

When our daughter was young she was trying to say common sense and it came out sense of commennance". We have used that term ever since because often there is no sense to it. Makes people at work laugh when I use it.

Nice chocolates. Rail, what is your timeframe for buying a coach? I know you want to make Liberty Farms in July so thinking maybe then. With all the guys here looking I am sure it will come along at the right time.

Hope you all have a great day and keep safe. Prayers out to all in need and in general.

Lynne

Good Morning Gang,
Coffee is good this morning as usual, Coffee clutch is going each morning now.
More of the sunow birds are rolling in, 1 or 2 every day, so the family is coming back to roost.
Lynne,
I like that , I see why you would keep using it.
Rail,
Akron is only about 20 minutes from home, If you need someone to go look at it, I can have Rita's son go take a look and send me pics.
Jay,
That chocolate really looks good.
Mike,
Glad that you got moved ok, although a little damp.
Have a great day all,
Frank

Morning,
Coffee is great, Both of my insulated mugs were left in the MH last night so I'm drinking it out of a glass coffee cup, I bet it's been 20 years since I drank it in a coffee cup.
Hired a Guy too do the snow removal last night. I wish I got what he's charging for all the times I did the neighbor's I'd be driving a Provost
Sure like the new Air Nailer a lot faster than a hammer. I found a swivel chuck for the hose attachment never new they made them, boy is that nice. Going out to start a few last minute items.
Got my tabs yesterday and the employees told me I was the first one to get the new color for 16/17. I asked if that entitled me to a discount....

AHHH NO!!!
I'm still not sure about my mail when we go.

Tim

Good Morning, Everyone! Coffee was good today!
Thanks, Frank, it was in Ravenna, Oh, just east of Akron. But I have not received any email contact back from them, sooooooo???? To bad, really liked the look of the 93 Europremier by Firan! I figured if I find one in a area that no one is close to, I will find a RV inspector to go look at it, then, if it passes inspection, and we can agree on a price, fly a friend in to pay for it, get the title, and drive it to my son's in Decatur!
Not in any hurry, just would like to have one bought by spring/summer of '16', so we can make it to Jay's party!
Everyone have a great day! Rail!
