beamis- Not sure what year your looking for but there's a 2003 Mountain Aire down at PPL in Texas that looks nice and has a decent price.

Neal,

I will check it out thank you. My sister lives in Beaumont Texas and I am going to see if she knows someone who could go check it out. But, Wayne will be down there in February and I am going to ask him if Sis doesn't know anyone. Don't want to offer on just pictures alone but am ready to buy the one in San Antonio.

I'll find it. Lynne

I like the sauce a bit on the sweeter side so there are two extra tblspoons of brown sugar. Next time I will add an extra two.

I rubbed the roast with yellow mustard and coated it with my version of Memphis rub.

Threw it on a hot grill to sear.

Slow grilled it for 4 hours with apple wood chip smoke, brushing about every half hour with the sauce. Then into a pan with what was left of the sauce. Covered tightly with foil for another 4 hours on the grill. Tried to keep the temp between 225 and 250.

Pulled the pork in the pan with the sauce that was left.

Served the pork with two sauces. One was a sweeter sauce based on BBQ sauce, the other was a spicy mango chutney.

If we can get together some time in the future and I have the grill along I would be pleased to try repeating this.
Thank you that looks like it or dang close. Boy I'm game, I'll bring the buns
Tim

Ate the last of the pulled pork tonight. It is better the second day.

Once Janet gets her hip done we will be doing some travelling, both in Canada and the US. The possibility of meeting up is high.

Good Morning All,

Saturday and I am off, thank God! Yesterday at the hospital was awful. So busy but in under 3 years now I will be done and on the road.

Found the unit I want. Problem is it is in San Antonio Texas and I don't want to buy it without checking it out. It is a 2003 Newmar Mountain Aire that was reposessed by a bank. It is the color I want, floor plan, and length. Mileage is only 24,283 and price is under $40,000. If I can get someone to check it out for me and it is ok, I will put a bid in and then go get it in May when I am off.

Sure hope this pans out because this is the one I want.

Had a great cup of coffee this morning and hope all of you have a great day! Lynne

Good luck Lynne.

Sometimes you just have to "go for it". If you are not living life on the edge you may be taking up too much space.

Terry - 27 is not too bad, especially if the wind is not blowing. Hope you are taking a day or two to let the knee recover a bit.

Lynne,
If it is the one that you want, it might be worth the flight out there to look at it. This way you know for sure, and then you can go out later and drive it home. I realize that the plane tickets aren't cheap, but if it is " the one" it will be worth it.

Gordon,
That pork looked delicious, can't wait to try some.

Frank,

I tried the fly out thing already and can't get time off from work. We have people out for surgery and are down to such a short crew already that they won't give me two days. I work my usual and have been mandated to pick up extra to cover those off.

The overtime will pay for whatever RV that I will need (grill, hoses, table chairs for outside, and whatever else) but can't get off right now.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! It is 20 here this AM and retirement is going to be so good. Lynne

Good Morning Everyone, 24* this am very windy. Gordon, the problem with "livin on the edge".........sometimes you fall off!!!!. I've done that several times . Lynne, too bad you can't personally get out there to view the MH, will the dealer work with you on maybe taking video ect. of places and things you want to see? may be worth asking. Have a great day all.

Terry,

The dealership will work with me but I would like to find someone who could look at it. Wayne will be down there on Feb 23rd and if it is still there I will send a bid if he says good.

Then I can store it down there until I can go pick it up. Can see my sister while I am down there.

If it is meant to be it will happen. Have a good afternoon and evening. Lynne
