Hope the injections work for you until you have a convenient time to get the surgery done. I know there is no convenient time but there may be a shoulder time so you do not miss much time on the bike.

Good Morning,

Frank, That would be great. Frankenmuth is a great place to visit.

Rail, I don't get upset when I don't get a MH because I know there is one out there for me and the one I didn't get was not THE one. I am 61 now and will be 62 on Tuesday. Whoever got it it was their ONE.

I plan to work until January 7, 2018 and walk out. Just long enough in January to pay for insurance that month. That is what I am working for is the insurance. Also allows me to put money away for gas for traveling and or repairs.

9 degrees here this morning and haven't made my coffee yet but will shortly. It is always nice to wake up on my day off and not have to run. Can take my time and relax and check out IRV2 and Rvillage.

Have a great day everyone. Hope all who are in the storms path are doing ok. Lynne

Good Morning All, 10* this am, well so far not getting the snow that they predicted, now just 2" to 6", doesn't hurt my feelings. Thanks for all the encouragement, so far the injections aren't doing much, maybe too early to tell. Frank, I agree with your dad, you have to have a reason to get up, so far no problem with that. Rail, yes the surgery will work, I want it sooner than later, the thing with a knee replacment is after its done your only limited by the pain you experiance, the knee joint is good from the get go. Gordon, I'm really not used to not being able to get on a bike and riding as long as I want, DW and I used to put 10,000 miles or more on a yr, the last couple I've been lucky to get in 1000 miles. We will see how soon I can get on the schedule

Terry- my recollection of injections is that you get relief quite quickly. Hope the relief comes soon if it is going to come.

I hear you on the riding. Before Janets hip we did a lot of touring. Now her bike is sitting in the stacker and mine is used to go to the golf course. We are planning a tour for this July. We are hopeful.

A close friend had a hip replaced and he was riding his Ultra three weeks after surgery. We are not that optimistic but the results are amazing.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you to get the best treatment possible and prayers for a positive outcome.

Rained all day yesterday so spent a lot of time relaxing. Clear today for golfing. Supposed to be 72/76 depending upon which weather you listen to. Time to get the bike out and loaded.

Everyone have a great day.

Well so far only got about 2" of snow, just got the cold and wind, not getting the snow doesn't hurt my feelings any . Gordon, when I got my left knee replaced I was riding my bike in four weeks on short trips, I started out on my old sportster cause it was lighter but graduated pretty fast to the touring one, even rode it to physical therapy. Dr told me a hip is easier than a knee is to recover, I hope so for Janets sake. Bap, I've had injections in my one shoulder, and it worked pretty quick from what I can remember, two major shoulder operations later I'm real good there, full range of motion and can lift. My knee feels different (after the injection)not better just,.....different. I have a feeling the Doc will know what I think pretty quick. Yep I know about pain meds not good, but sometimes the only thing you can do,if you want to get anything done. We used to have a saying in the unit I was in "As long as there's pain your alive, when it stops your dead" I just don't need quite so much .

Best of luck to you and the wife. I'm going in tonight to see my Dr about this dang arthritis.
I had a few shots to my R. shoulder years ago then torn my rotary cuff throwing a wood pallet into a dumpster @ work (1 good thing out of it), surgeon said it was the worst he has ever done.
That was 3 years ago and currently can't get my arm high enough to comb my hair!!! Getting a hinnie today!!!!!
Best wishes to you and the wife,
Tim

Good morning everyone! Coffee is very good today!
Lynne, If you have decided on the floor plan you like, then the rest of it will fall into place! My second MH was a Overland bus on a Oshkosh chassis, it had the side isle floor plan, and I really liked it! It had the bathroom all enclosed in one big room with a door! We always had kids with us on our camping trips, so the privacy of that made all the difference! When I was looking for the MH I have now, I was looking at all different floor plans, when I saw this one, it had the same side isle as my old one! It just struck me, this is the one! You will know when you see it, when you walk in it, it will just hit you!
H&S, you know better than answer the phone, "Wow, I must have turned the ringer down or something" Hehehehe!
Terry, glad you did not get the big storm you were expecting!
Gordon, Raining all day in Yuma? Time to water the cactus! Enjoy the cool weather! (70's is cool there)!
Tim, did you figure out your elec. issue? I am betting it is in your cord, one end or the other?
Everyone have a great day!
Rail!

Good Morning to everyone, guess I am not the only one who can't sleep in. First cup of coffee out of the Kureg, now I can turn on the coffee pot for the next one, the dw should be up, by the time it is ready. Does anyone happen to have a 30p Avion, who could give me an approx tongue wt. Do not want to unwinterize it yet and have not got every thing in it to take it to the scales. The paper work that I have gives the empty tongue wt. as 630 lbs, just trying to get a general idea of what to expect. It did tow well coming down to Texas from Illinois. Thanks in advance. gps

Morning Gentlemen,

Do women not post on these things? I enjoy coming here. 9 degrees again this AM. Yesterday felt bitter with the wind. Only went outside long enough to start husbands truck so he wasn't late for his eye appt. He got playing games on tablet and almost was late.

Another enjoyable day of not having to run off to work today. Tomorrow I have 5 in a row and then 2 off. Looking forward to retirement when I don't have to do this. It will come soon.

You all have a wonderful day, stay safe, and enjoy life! Lynne
