Good morning all!
Rain still here, not at this moment, but just a little while ago. More expected through mid-day tomorrow.
Rail, enjoy the trip! You need a coach there also!
Bap, do you spray the paint? Send pictures!
Frank, safe travels. You might be the only RV headed to Florida! Everybody else left?
Have a great day all!

Morning,
currently, warm 59 going up to 8888-80 yea-baby
Heading out to my brothers for a unknown time. yea-baby.
He bought a John Deer zero turn 60 inch cut rides so smooth for a big mower. I think he said it has a 28 horse Kohler. I have my Cub Cadet out there he borrowed it until he got the JD and I mowed using that and I think I might of fried the engine. O well what da u do.
Went to start the water heater yesterday and it would light but just a smokey flame. Went and bought a new Thermo-coupler and wa-la just like new.
Went and started the fridge using the inside controls just now and she fired right up first click. Got to love it.
I say this cause we went looking at newer MH yesterday and was so disappointed at what they had to offer. Ours is in better condition that what we saw. I don't get it. I am going to keep what we have, she has taken us on plenty of trips trouble free. I better get a can or 2 of wax !!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the newcomers,
That's about it from here,
Those on the road be safe, (I'll be out there too)
Tim

Goooodmorning all y’all!!!
It’s a cloudy day in Anchorage and it’s raining off and on. I guess the sunshine I brought with me from Arizona is beginning to wear off.
While in Homer I found the ultimate RV project (Jeff and Terry do I have your attention!!!) . Some crazy Alaskan turned a double deck railroad car into a 5th wheel, check it out.
And it’s for sale!
Steve

Good Afternoon Gang,
Safe and sound back in Brooksville, of course it started raining as soon as we got in, so we visited with friends and waited out the rain. Now it is sunshine and 90*, YIPPY, We had some drizzle this morning, but not bad, it didn't start raining until about 35 miles before we got here, so not bad.
We are all set up and going out to dinner with our friends, so catch you later.
Steve, that is a find, lol

Terry, don't write this idea off.......
It appears to have 2 floors, square footage would be great, or you could use the rear as a stacker.........
I like the double door entry,,,, perhaps air operated would be cool. Sorta enter and exit like the Star Trek bridge????
Ignore the name Alaska painted on the sides,,,, it is the New York yellow and blue..... would look great on the Northway....
The trip to get it, would be awesome. Better go in the summer....
and,,,,, a BIGGER TRUCK would be okay right?

And, what is the HEIGHT, WIDTH, and LENGTH of this rig? Would it be legal on any Interstate or other roads?
Just asking...
I think the "ALASKA" would be a conversation starter. Not that the rig itself wouldn't be!
BTW, a Google search reveals that a typical Pullman (passenger) rail car is:
"85 feet long (across coupler pulling faces), 10' 6" wide, and about 14' 6" high."
Maybe that is why it is for sale? They can't take it anywhere without a special oversize permit.

I almost forgot to tell you guys about the rig that came in at Branson, pulled by a Vovo twin screw, a 55' 5er with 6 slide outs, 3 on each side. The guy had it custom made.
I didn't get any pics, sorry.
