Afternoon All,

Yeah Frank, I am not impressed. Jerry is so irritated he can't even talk about it right now. Neither of us do this kind of work and I guess you just expect the same quality from others. The picture is sideways so that is actually the side of the glass where the seam is. I agree with the gasket. I would have checked the job before calling the customer and telling them the job was done. This was not done right. The reviews were so good too.

Trial run with dolly and Prius went well today. Getting things with the rig done. Going to paint handles on the basement compartments this PM and possibly driver's side mirror. Little touch up here and there to make it look just right. Doing that work myself so it is done right. I like working on it too. It's mostly ready to go. Thanks for the info on the JB Weld. If Elkhart doesn't want to touch it, I will probably go that route.

Nice car and boat there Tim. When we out in Spokane, Idaho there were lots of those wooden boats on the lake. Beautiful!

Otherwise, it has been a nice 6 days off other than the window problem. This time next year I will be biting at the bit.

Thank you all our Military, Veterans and those serving now and their families. Lynne

Goooodmorning all y’all!!!

Tim does that boat of yours have the Hercules 6 ylinder flathead engine (also marked Chris-Craft but made but Hercules)? +300 cid, 175hp, and a wonderful exhaust note.

Here are some pictures I’ve taken during my wanderings.

On the road to Homer AK

Turnagain Arm located south of Anchorage

Hatcher Pass located near Palmer AK

Thunderbird Falls located north of Anchorage

I’ll be hitting the road for Valdez, Dawson City Yukon and British Columbia in a few days.

Steve

Hi all!

Our trip was great. Got back early afternoon today. The Temptations were fun, they had some great hit songs. (only one of the original members is still alive)

Coach ran great, 7.3mpg average, of course there is always something to work on..... the fridge won't seem to lite on propane. Going to have to look at that.

Lynne, sorry they messed up your window. I've been there done that. These days I do as much as I can myself. It seems nobody has time to do good work.

Making me homesick with those AK pictures. Did you get a big fat Halibut for the helubit?

Have you made it over to Valdez yet??

Hi goodmorning gang!
Well we just got back to Jira's sisters house, from the tour we were on. Man, I won't be hungry any time soon, that's for sure! Three buffets a day will sure put the weight on yaa! The Resort we stayed at was a 5 star in Krabi, and had the largest pool in southeast Asia! I met the chef, and he was from France, and had a great menu the whole time we were there! I will get some pics on tomorrow, when I fire up the laptop! We had a great time, even if it did rain just about everyday! Everyone have a great day!
Rail & Jira!

Lovely pictures from both Steve and Rail.

Perhaps we should consider meeting Rail and Jira on their turf for a Meet and Greet getaway.

Possible fix......happened to mine a few times...
Check the flame at the bottom of the chimney.Behind the unit.
Sometimes the inside of the chimney rusts and flakes off covering the flame orfice.
A quick blow or vacuum to get the debris out will cure it .

Hope that's the problem , easy to fix.

Evening,
currently 64 brrrrr
coffee is still going down the hatch.

I agree with rvpopeye, Lloyd Mine gets cleaned weekly on mine anyway It seems that if its not level (MH) it get crumbs at the tip of the thermocouple. I bought a small wire brush and I use that up the shoot and the tip. Once a month I blow it out with the compressor.

Steve some great Pictures thanks for sharing. Yours too Rail.
The boat isn't mine I wish though. It belongs to a realty company. I saw it last summer on my way to a flea market in the concours and stopped and looked at it and talked to the owner. So the other day we took the 64 and the guy had the boat sitting at his Company so we stopped and talked to him and got the idea to put the 2 together for a photo shoot. He is looking for a 59 deville convert and I told him of one I know of and told him for $150,000.00 it could be his. I thought he was going to drop over.I let it b known that the 64 is for sale.
His boat is a 1947 Chris Craft with a rebuilt straight 8 he just had the interior redone. I know your into old motorcycles well guess what he also has a 1917 Harley all original

Been staying at my brothers place since last Friday really enjoying my self. Yea yesterday I was going into the riding ring with a load of fresh cut grass for the 3 horses and got to the other end and turned around and the 3 horses made a break for it. Wow 3 huge horses coming straight at me at full speed to get to the other corral. Wow what a rush. They listen to my brother and glad he was with in shouting distance. Today I emptied the lawn bags over the fence and didn't open the gates... lol Lesson learned
My counter top Ice Machine is working great. I can't get over how fast it makes cubes.
That's about it,
Those on the road be safe,
Tim

Good morning all. Coffee is great this morning, wish I could say the same for the weather. Widespread flooding across Texas. The area I live in is safe for now, but not if it keeps up. I guess after a 8+ year drought we should be thankful for the rain.

Beautiful pictures Steve! Rail, looks like yall are having a good time.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning!

68* here. Can't find a cloud.

Thanks Popeye and Tim, I will check that out. It worked fine last season, could very well be the cause.

Nice pics Rail, looks like you are staying first class!

Wow Tim, don't lose the horses! Close call.

Major milestone here yesterday, I installed the hardwood floor (floating type you just lay down, got 3 boxes for free) and then the toilet in the barn bathroom. I no longer have to walk up the hill to the house!!! Nice to have that for sure.

Friday night we have 50-60 people coming here for a party/bon fire, pre event for the grand kids (have a grandson and granddaughter the same age, graduating from high school Saturday). A lot of family and friends from out if town, having the barn bath will be handy.

Have a great day all!

Good Morning Gang,
Coffee is good this morning, weather is hot and steamy. Been cutting grass almost everyday, or weedeating. Just about have it under control and it is time to start all over.
Rail,
Nice pics, glad that you and Jira had a good time. That place looks Fantastic.
Lloyd,
I agree with the others on cleaning out the burner, spiders and mud daubers love to plug up around the burners for some reason. Another thing is the connections tend to corrode, and cleaning them sometimes will work also.
Have a great day all,
Frank
