WOW mowing every day ! Not my idea of fun......
The closest I've gotten to that in the last 35 years is taking in my dump hose so the campground maint guys don't mow or weed wack holes in it!

CRAP ! scratch that , I spelled the maint guy at a place in Vermont and mowed the play field ,,, wanted to try out one of those zero turn jobs .....
it still sucked after the first 5 minutes !

Afternoon All,

Another real nice day weather wise and having the day off is never bad. Coffee was nice this AM too.

Jerry replaced a couple of the running lights on the MH and worked on a noise that came out of the furnace fan system. He keeps finding things to play with.

I got the painting of the handles on the basement compartments done on the passenger side, Will do the driver's side and that mirror if the wind dies down. What is done sure looks nice. Will probably do the stairs some time this summer too.

Sure feel bad for the people in Texas with the flooding and another 5 to 8 inches expected. After 8 years of drought they sure are getting hit hard.

Frank, you're going to be all mowed out by the end of summer. I cut rhubarb this AM and will be making pies. You deserve one after all that mowing.

Do you ever get the feeling that the PC's are smarter than us and laughing the whole time they loose E-mails or posts. I feel real dumb sometimes with these things.

Stay safe all. Hope you each have a great summer. Lynne

Good Evening Gang,
Popeye and Lynne,
The grass mowing isn't that bad, I only do 2 or 3 hours a day, that is why it takes me so long, the weed wacking takes a little longer, especially with the heat and humidity. So I weed wack early and then when it heats up i use the Zero turn.
Have a good evening all,
Frank

Hey Frank,
I have the same schedule , 60 inch cut zero turn has a 3 bagger so the horses get 6 bags a day. I get to mow around 9 acres. Then weed whip, how many tree's ringed with Field stone I lost track every thing but the riding ring and 2 corrals that don't have field stone but have a post every 8 feet. One advantage I get, is the use of a golf cart, my hips don't work like they used too when I walked it.
I get free dinner usually on the pontoon and a great place to park the MH with a wonderful view of the lake... Plus I get to hang with my older brother.
Priceless.

Tim

Good morning!

62* here, mostly cloudy at the moment. No rain forecasted except possible thunderstorms in the evening.

We had a thunderstorm last night around 5pm, mostly a rain event.

I have mowing to do myself today, put it off till today to make sure it all looks great for the party Friday afternoon evening. I enjoy mowing when its not too hot out. Today we are headed to 82,,,, not too hot. (for S.C.)

Frank, is your entire works day 3 hours? Or is that just the mowing part of the work day?

Tim, your brothers place sounds real nice. Never thought about feeding the horses clippings. My zero turn does not have the bagger on it.

Well, early start today, I am behind on my list to do.

Oh, sister in-law and her husband should arrive around noon today, they are coming in their MH, camping in site #1.

L.

Lloyd,
I have no set hours, just as long as the job is done. We used to work 4hrs for 3 days, but that was when there were 3 couples doing the work. Now we do around 3 hrs 5 to 6 days, since it is just us.It is really not as bad as it sounds, and keeps us out of the hot Florida sun in the afternoon.

MK,
Hope that everything works out and that you stay with us. If we can help, let us know.
Frank

Good evening everyone!
Gordon, you are welcome here anytime! We have a extra house for you to stay in! Might be hard to bring all the MH's over, so we can put you up!
We saw a caravan park on the way down, and are going to stop on the way back up home! Saw a small AirStream, and a 5'r, and a couple of TT's.
We went to a Chinese temple today! It was Wow!
