Good Evening Gang,
Happy Birthday Jay, the park is in Brooksville, Florida. It is about 12 miles west of exit 301 on I-75. We will be here till next May except for a couple weeks here and there.
Lloyd,
Get your reservations in early, Jan, Feb, and March there usually isn't much room. Once they get the back done there will be another 140 sites or so, then there will be room.
Popeye,
unfortunately he passed over 50 years ago, but he is still with us in spirit.
Frank

Morning,
currently 60
coffee is taste
Joe had the 64 out Saturday and blew the lower radiator hose $27 bucks for a new one, (thankyou NAPA)
We took off yesterday and went to the All GM Car Show at the fair grounds yesterday the 64 was # 2013, lots of cars, but not a big turn out people wise but had a grand time. We were in the caddie section around 25-30 caddies. My favorite was one like this http://images.classiccars.com/previe...2bBiarritz.jpg only 873 were produced.
I wished they had something like this but with old Motorhomes. We got to see some of the cars and there owners from our car club we joined years ago.
Got back to the farm and started working at picking up all the debris from the rocks, weeds that I weed whipped and pinecones using the Cub Cadet.. Then I sprayed most of the rock beds for weeds that are around all the trees Glad that's over. Today will start mowing again. Still can't get down by the lake to mow still really wet.
I get a kick out of his turkeys, they have free rain of the farm and 2 of the big toms gobble at the sound of anything if I cough they will gobble gobble or if a car honks going down the freeway or the dogs bark they will gobble gobble. really entertaining.
That's about it.
Those on the road be safe,
Tim

Good Morning Gang,
Coffee is good this morning, weather not so much. Rain off and on all night, luckily, not real hard yet(hope that it doesn't).
Tim,
Love those Caddies, My Mom had a '57 Coupe Deville, in fact that is what I took my drivers test in. It was a really nice car.
Lloyd,
You need to change your mindset in retirement. You have to remember that what you don't get done today, you can do tomorrow, or the next day. Those projects that you used to have to rush through due to time restraints, you can now slow down and enjoy doing them. Of course you have to get Deb retired also, that way you can pick up and enjoy that MH more.
Rail,
You better be careful, your son may just forget to give Mona back, lol.
Have a great day all,
Frank

I am hoping that I did this correct. If you guys remember my brothers Barn Fire last fall just after his motorcycle accident. I'm hoping this video comes thru. It was done by a personal Drone by who I do not know but its pretty neat with todays inventions.. You can also see what I mow and weed whip.

Good morning all,
Having coffee on the patio and what a gorgeous morning it is. Got a lot of yard work done yesterday trimming bushes. Three tanks of fuel in the chain saw. Going to get the MH ready for the trip to Indiana for the Fleetwood rally this week. Never been to one and not sure what to expect.
Everyone have a great day!

Good video Tim, big place your brother has. Looks like that barn was huge. Sad that he lost it. Hope he gets all resolved with the insurance.
Rooster, I did yard work all last week. It is too hot here for that. The rally will be fun. I'm sure,,,, no chainsaw's involved!!

Good evening, all!
Steve, Absolutely stunning photos. Here in Florida, we don't get to see anything like that around here.
OldCarNut, Happy Birthday!
Frank, We had some nasty rain for a while late this afternoon. We are forecast to get squalls overnight. We are safe at this point. I need/want to get back to the new house tonight, with the trailer, but will check weather radar and forecast first!
It looks like an hour break in the weather, so I need to make the 25 mile trip NOW!
See everyone later!

Hello again this evening.
Not to keep anyone in suspense, I made it home to the new house safe and sound. Evidently we have some weird geography around here. Often the storms will break apart, going either north or south of us, then sometimes reforming as they hit the Atlantic Coastline. This means the weather forecast can change drastically hour by hour. We have had nothing here to speak of in the last 3 hours. Now, the Squalls they predicted for my area earlier today are supposed to start in an hour and last for 3-4 hours. We will see. However, weather radar shows Jacksonville, just south of us, as getting slammed by tropical storm Colin right now.
I did have a weird experience earlier today that I thought was interesting. This afternoon, after some nasty rain at the old house, things were calm. I was inside working away, but I could hear what sounded like a "freight train" outside. The news had already reported tornadoes in our area this afternoon and, although I have never experienced this in person, I had been told that tornadoes sound like freight trains. With all of the weather alerts sounding off on the radio all afternoon, I was wondering if I was in for the "big one."
I went to the kitchen window. Everything looked calm, but the freight train sound was getting louder. And, I was getting more concerned.
Since the trees were calm, I cautiously opened the front door and listened. Sometimes the sky could look fine in one direction, but a storm could be just a few miles the other way. The freight train was sounding even louder. Where could the tornado be? What would happen to my trailer that I had parked out front if the wind got really nasty. What would happen to the house? The trees? (Yes, folks. This really did happen to me this afternoon!)
Then I heard it! The engineer blew the whistle!
What I forgot is that we have RR tracks that run through town (about 4 miles away). When it is very, very cloudy, and the wind is blowing the right direction, the sounds of the trains are reflected off the clouds and in our direction. It really was a freight train!
OK, that's my story for tonight.
Hope everyone else who is facing bad weather is safe and sound as well.
Good night!

Evening All,
Well, Jerry and I made it to Elkhart. We are parked out behind Duncan Systems and plugged into their RV hook up outside their building. This is at the very end of the road so should be quiet tonight. Sitting here eating Rhubarb pie and drinking milk with Jerry.
Hope that this company does a good job with the windshield. With the problem we had with the side window I will probably blow a gasket if they don't.
It's nice outside right now and should be good tomorrow. Happy Birthday Jay and Steve, those pictures are beautiful! Keep them coming. When we meet up in August 2017 we will want you to do a show of them.
Charles, I have been way to close to tornados more than once and they do sound like freight trains. Then the pressure drops and there is no doubt you are in trouble. It feels like you skin is being pushed and it is hard to catch your breath. Sure hope I never experience it again.
Those of you in bad weather paths, please keep safe. Have a great day tomorrow and wish us luck. On the way here we saw a class C on the side of the road with the engine compartment on fire. Hope the fire truck got there in time to save some of it. They were not anywhere close to help. Keep safe all.
Lynne
