Good Morning,

Coffee good this AM after I made rhubarb pies. It was 62 this AM going to 93 so wanted it done early before the heat hit. Larry and Prissy arrived and we visited last night and had a good time. They are visiting tonight for dinner and rhubarb pie.

Been working a lot lately and am tired. Loving the heat even though it is really hot. Hate winter so much will not complain about the heat. Going to get the MH this weekend and get it washed and cleaned up. Then away to the casino in Mt Pleasant for 2 nights of camping and gambling. Back home and expecting family in from Arizona in their TT.

Steve, I would love that camping spot because the view is exceptional! That is the kind of place I prefer.

Bap, taking it you are getting your neck operated on. After you have an opportunity to heal you will be AMAZED at how much better you feel. I woke up after surgery with the pain gone. Just had to be careful and do what the doctor said.

Popeye, I agree with you about water, always better being out there on it. When we visited friends last night at the CG, we went for a walk to the lake and I walked in the water. It always feels lovely!

Frank, sounds like the break away from the construction will be a nice break. Do you take the cat with you or does someone go in and feed her?

You all take care, have a great day, and those having surgery or problems, prayers go out to you.

Lynne

Good morning, all!

Jeff, Thoughts and prayers on the surgery. I trust that all will go well.

Frank. Have a safe trip this weekend. I got a very small taste of your rainy, west Florida weather yesterday on the Florida Turnpike north of Orlando. A few miles of moderately heavy rain slowed traffic down a bit, then cleared again. Other than that yesterday's work-trip was pretty uneventful. Did see one 18-wheeler on I-4 near Deland where part of the trailer was burned through over the trailer wheels. I am guessing a brake fire. Hopefully no injuries.

Lynne, Gambling? You do know that the "house" will win in the end? I refuse to even play the penny slot machines when we visit Vegas. But, it can be fun to watch others play, well, for a little bit.

Steve and Lloyd, I didn't know about the aluminum vs. steel issue. Thanks for sharing. I may need that info someday.

Tim, Like others said, check references and reviews of auctioneers. Don't be in a rush to hire the first one you see because you are excited. Try to ask around for referrals. Not sure where to ask. Anyone else have an idea or two? We let the auctioneer visit my parents' house and give us his feedback. He had said it usually takes them days (or more) to go through stuff and organize it for the auction. After he saw how my Mom had cleaned out everything, he told me it was ready to go without any further prep work. She had already disposed of all the "junk" and useless stuff. Good luck on your decision on what to do.

Popeye, Did you ever get the roof leak fixed? If you did, I forgot. I think I remember it was an issue you could not deal with while there was snow. Your part of the country does thaw out in August, right?

All, have a great day!!!

Good afternoon gang.

Prayers to those that need them. So many of you having health issues or other woes. We will keep you in our thought a and prayers.

Discovered that Maggie has a woefully inadequate inverter. So we'll be updating that soon. I'm not sure if the original is in the day or not it's in an access from the large pass-through Bay which is currently full have tools ready to go to the next project I will upload that stuff next week and see what's up in there. Definitely going to upgrade it Whatever It Is. When you can't run a Keurig and something else at the same time that's pretty sad.

She gets a full set of tires this week. Just getting that out of the way these are past their date despite the fact that they look good. I just don't want to make any kind of long trips on old tires no matter how pretty they are not going to be one of those statistics.

She still has the original TVs in there and those have got to go. Never had a satellite system so that's another thing on the agenda and soon. Needs a sound system both Av and audio. Again on stuff.

Over the winter will swap out the 3 way fridge for a residential unit. Those things are just dangerous. Besides they're too dang small.

Have some ideas for an outdoor Entertainment System that is motorized and pops out of one of the Bays. If that doesn't work I may put drop down projector screen and use my projector and look up another audio system outside.

Since Maggie is going to be my rate for a little while got to get her up to speed I practically stole the thing so I can afford to invest a little bit iand still not be too upside down.

Need to have the exhaust brake look bad because I don't think it's functioning properly. The footswitch certainly doesn't work. At least not that I could tell. Fortunately those people are right here in Washington so I will contact them about it.

That's about it for now have a blessed day

Good evening all!

Hi Frank! Saturday night still works for us!

The trailer is done and ready. Looks good all cleaned up, waxed and new tires. I moved it outside this evening, tomorrow morning I need to clean the shop I have made a very big mess. Then I have a few projects on the Jeep to do. CB antenna and radio, and I bought a set of lights I want to mount and wire.

We moved up our departure to next Wednesday morning, going to stop in Alabama on the way and visit some friends.

L.

Charles,

Some minds are very creative and wonder onto many fabulous thoughts. Popeye has one such mind. He creates thoughts that no one else would dare. Dare on Popeye, dare on.

Had friends over for dinner tonight and rhubarb pie. It was a hit! Good time visiting. Look forward to seeing them again in the future.

Take care all and Jeff, wishing you the best. Lynne

Good Morning, Everyone! Coffee good today!
Jeff, you take care, and prayers coming for a successful surgery!
Jay, just some of the things you will have to take care of, when you get a great deal! I was very lucky, with Mona, all those things had been done before I got her! And with you doing them yourself, you can do them the way you want, for sure! Even the old Norcold had been swapped out with a side-by-side Dometic and it works great! I think the older Monaco's and CC's are some of the best made! The quality sure stands up to the test of time! Mine has the Heart Inverter, 1000 w., and it does work just fine, just not very big! What generator does yours have? Mine has the 7000W Power Tech Diesel, and it has 3000+ hours, and runs great!
Lloyd, sounds like you are ready, and have fun and enjoy!
Steve, you are in one of my favorite area's, enjoy! I love it up there!
Hope everyone in Florida is staying dry!
Lynne, have a great visit with friends, and family next week!
Everyone else, hope you all are enjoying what life gives you! Rail!

PS, talked to my son today, and he pulled the A/C, and checked the drip pan, and it is intact, just the drains were shut enough that it was overflowing into the MH, so he opened them up a bit, and is taking Mona out this weekend camping, so will test, and see how she does! He also cleaned and blew the A/C out, so will see if that make a difference! He also said he was going to do the rear one too!
