Good to see you back on the web Bobby. I recently bought a new computer with 10 and really like it. Have been having some problems with Edge (new Explorer) and this web site but Dell has pretty much fixed the problem.

Best to Sally and yourself. Prayers for a speedy recovery for her. Take care of yourself so you can take care of both of you.

Following the Dr. orders are just good common sense - tell her Dr. Dewald said that! LOL

Ro_sie,
It is a she(I think), somewhere about 2 months old, she is grey with marbled stripes. We named her Peanut. Has a great personality, already uses the litter box. We let her out this afternoon and she stayed right around the camper, then when I came in, she meowed for me to let her in.

Good morning, everyone! Coffee is ok today, and I am back home!
The blood work results are back and all is good, and the Dr. was very pleased! No rheumatoid arthritis? Fasting blood sugar level was 92, which is good! Cholesterol was low, yeah! PSA 0.030, up slightly, but still way low! CBC, all levels right in the middle!
Bobby, Tell Sally to "line out"! Glad to hear from you! I also use Windows 7, and hope it last's for awhile longer too!
Frank, Peanut sounds like a keeper! Better roll in the awning though!!
Mk, ok, what is k cup? Love the old bus, perrrrrrrfect for Popeye! Arrrrrr!!
Hope everyone stays dry and the power stays on!! Those out traveling, be safe! Rail!

Morning,
Coffee is 2 days old still taste okay or the taste buds aren't up yet.

We had to cancel our long weekend plans for going up North to the casino. Joe made Doctor appointments for 5:00 yesterday and when I tried to make new reservations there web site was down. I'm sure from people trying to book on line. Should of just canceled the Doc appointment.
I got the go ahead everything is good and got my Flu shot, anyways. Foot is looking good. I 'm glad but My back is killing me from walking goofy because of said foot. Had to go back to wearing those pretty socks from swelling. It goes from the knee to the tip of the toes, Really a good look. NOT.

5:10 Am And I am hungry Apple Sauce Pancakes and Bacon sounds like a winner to me.

Bobby,
Stent # 18
I thought I was bad with 4. Prayers are going her way.

Not too sure how many NFL nuts there are here but the Vikes won last night but we lost our Quarterback for possibly up too a year from a dislocated knee, and it was a non-contact injury.
Ouch sounds painful.
That's about it from here,
Ya'll have a safe and wonderful long weekend.
Those on the road be safe,
Tim

Good Morning Gang,
On 2nd cup of coffee this morning, been up since before 4 am due to the rain and wind, kicked the ground fault on the hookup, I saw the flash a little lull in the rain and I went out and reset it. We are ok, not as bad as a few miles west of us, the got hit with a high storm surge and things are flooded pretty bad.
Made myself bacon ,eggs and hashbrowns this morning(I got hungry), just finished.
Tim,
Sorry that you missed going to the Casino. Glad that the foot is doing good, hopefully the back will straighten up soon.
Have a great day all, and stay dry,
Frank

Frank, That kitten sure sounds like a keeper. So smart, already found and using the litter box. Lucky man.

Sally, my thoughts and prayers are with you today and all the tomorrows. It sounds like you have a lot of friends on YOUR team. Be strong.

We had a tiny bit of rain during the night, but our weather people say that more is coming. Also a real drop in temps. Right now we have the mid 70's. Perfect!

I got a real laugh this morning. I take my grand daughter to school. This morning she wanted to ride in the MoHo. I really had to laugh. I could visualize that 40 ft monster going thru the car drop off line and the other parents trying to figure out what was going on. I took her in my everyday driver, but if it hadn't been misting, I would have gotten my old vette out and taken her in that. There is nothing more special than grand kids.

You all have a great day, and most of all,may God take a liking to you.

Goooodmorning all yíall!!!
Another foggy morning, fall must be arriving. My morning coffee sure hit the spot today, along with my coffee I prepared hot oatmeal with cinnamon and honey, YUM!!!

My trip to Roswell yesterday to have lunch with my sonís father-in-law went well. Over lunch we talked about our kids and families, it was a nice lunch. Frank is lifelong Roswell resident so after lunch he gave me a town tour (sorry, we skipped the space alien part). The only thing to go wrong was I picked up a stone chip in my windshield on the way home. Itís frustrating because the windshield was replaced this past year. I purchased a chip repair kit and hopefully getting repair resin down into the chip will keep a crack from forming later.

Wow, stints, diabetes, surgeries, so many problems! Here's to future good health! I guess the problem is we're all getting older! The aging process is interesting, my wife always led a healthy lifestyle, kept her weight in check, exercised, didnít smoke, drank very little alcohol, was mentally active, and yet when she turned 50 she seemed to start falling apart, it was as if her warranty had expired. Gailís problems with diabetes alone caused me to pursue a healthier lifestyle regarding weight and exercise, hopefully I wonít get diabetes. Iím currently pretty healthy (knock on wood). I have no fear of death, but I do fear how I die with a long slow death from things like diabetes and Alzheimerís topping the list. Alzheimerís really frightens me, I never want to be a burden on my kids.

And with those happy thoughts I bid all yíall adieu.

Steve

Good Morning Everyone;
Prayers for those on the east coast.

Raining here today. Was planning on planting 30 cedar trees but am a bit late. Would have been better before the rain. Perhaps there will be a window of opportunity. Will not hurt my feelings if it stops raining for a while. Farmers are starting to harvest and from the looks of the fields they will have bumper crops if they can get them off.

Starting to think about going south. Have to sit down and work out departure date. We are not constrained by days this year as we did not do our annual motorcycle trip. However we still have to take the garden off and winterize prior to leaving.

Hope everyone has a grand day.

Good morning, all!

Well, Hurricane Hermine is now Tropical Storm Hermine. So far, we have survived quite well. The original forecast track put us directly in the path. That changed over the last day or so as the track moved much farther west.

Brief power outage yesterday evening (about 2 minutes). Overnight rain. Now it is windy (25+); rain from the outlying bands of the storm, mixed with sunshine right now will probably last all day.

No damage to anything I have heard/read about locally. Some palm fronds down from the neighbor's palm trees. Have not been out on the roads yet as they were discouraging driving. A walk around the property and new building revealed a few branches down, but no property damage. Winds are still strong, so more branches may become victims.

Frank, You were a lot closer to the storm. Hope everything is still ok. Looks like some outerbands from Hermine are still attacking your area as well. Time to introduce the cats to each other? I guess that will take some time but hopefully will work out.

Sally, My wife says you paid all of that money to the doctor, now listen to him! Seriously, rest as ordered and get well soon.

MK, That would fit right in with our local, annual Shrimpfest festival Shrimp Festival 2016 - Amelia Island, FL. Pirates are one of the main attractions.

Rail, K cups work with a Keurig single serve, brewing machine. They can contain coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. Fill water reservoir. Insert K cup in machine. Close top to puncture sealed K cup. Put coffee mug underneath. Push brew button. Hot cup of whatever in a minute or so (once machine is preheated).

Popeye, Thanks for the poem. Or, was it prose? Whatever!

Everyone, be safe out there and get better!
