Good Morning All
Bit warmer today to have decided to work on the 99 150. The rear end has a slight leak so I am going to take the cover off and reseal it. Will replace the oil at the same time.
Snow is rapidly melting away. Was hoping for some run off but I dont think that will happen.
Everyone have a grand day.

I have not seen that exact issue Lynne, but similar. Water does terrible things to motorhomes. They can look just fine until it's too late.

Hi Lynne;
I would guess the doors got wet at some time and dry rot has set in. Just a guess.

^^^ what they said...
And there was a time - and it still may be the case with some - when Jacks were and option. I don't think you want to touch that.

Steve,
We knew when we saw this one we did NOT want to touch it. I don't know how or even if tat can be fixed but it is more work than we ant to do. We'll find the ne for us.
Looked again today and found a nice looking 1997 National Dolphin. Not wild about the blue furniture and curtains but I can have that recovered in something I do like. Needs some cleaning and mild interior repairs, but outside is good and mechanical seems good. Gas gage didn't work but that can be fixed. It's not new and I expect a few things. 43,500 miles I think and new tires all the way around, Spare still has the nubs on it. Having a few things checked and then will discuss it.
Hope you all have a good day, take is easy. Lynne

Lynn - anything can be fixed. Most things "RV" are more expensive than you would think. But I was mostly referring to the no Jacks and 32 feet. My B van was only 19 feet and most places were level enough for the fridge to work. But I did not enjoy driving it up on blocks etc to get level. Especially when wet - hot - cold - windy - well OK - I never enjoyed it. Lol.

Steve,
That was what Jerry and I thought, too much work. I keep looking and keep finding one that is close but has one thing or another not quite right with it. It's finding the not quite right that is not too bad for us to fix. New or used there is always something.

Good Morning All, hope everyone is well or getting there! The last 3 days I have been on a mission. The SIL we have been staying with has a son that is 55 and he has issues. They live about 20 mi from town and he just sits on his butt doing nothing while his mom pays for everything. They want him to get a job but he claims since he is a felon(Bad DWI Wreck), he can't get a job in his "Chosen Proffession" whatever that is? He is smart and handy but ridiculously lazy, just waiting for his inheritance. He sold his house in Virginia a few years ago and made $146000 but that is long gone. We got in a little tiff when his mom asked me to look at the 1988 Mustang that they had let him use . He had a hissy fit cursing me and Sally out as he knew what was wrong with it , and it was not worth fixing! Might cause him to have to look for a job! Well, first the alternator was no good, got it running but idled rough and quit when you gave it gas, so as it was fuel injected I went and bought a gauge(one of my tools I didn't pack for the trip), sure enough the fuel pressure was 18, supposed to be 35-40 by the Ford manual. He cursed us for 2 days, for getting in his business and that it was electrical blah, blah, blah! His father put in a " New fuel pump in 2013 from Ford" they paid $350 for it, the rubber line from the electric pump to the steel line in the module was ready to burst. Changed that and wow, 40 psi! Now this Terry and Curtis will love, the father mangled all the push on fittings on the fuel lines and had a bunch of rubber transmission line and like 20 mini clamps holding it together, tiny leaks dripping all over. So now on the mission of finding repair ends for the nylon pushon fittings. The search is over, picking them up at 9:30 after driving 120 miles around here searching for them. Then I can go back to doing some things on the motorhome, LOL! This trying to be a nice guy, is harder then it looks! Bobby

Good Morning, Bobby, I know what your talking about when you saw the mangled fittings, I have a special kit for replacing those fittings, I have seen my share of home repairs, then they would bring them in to get fixed , sometimes all you can do is grin and bear it.

Bobby,
Sorry to hear that you are having to put up with that, its not fun trying to fix someone else's cobbled up work.
Lynne,
I am working on the park managers '97 Dolphin, like you said outdated interior, but they are a nice unit.
bap,
glad to see that you are back with us.
Jay,
Nice work on the tile, it does take some adjusting to move from a S&B to the RV, but it sure is worth it, we love this lifestyle.
Frank
