Pete, I'm still trying to sort all this retired stuff out, I too look forward to the weekends, but then my DW is still working so that may have something to do with it.

Terry - it's one thing to say "Good Morning" it's another thing to rub in your freedom. 5 more years and counting for me. The coffee is hot however.

When I retired my copilot was still working. Like the great man I am, I would get her breakfast ready for her, clear the frost and ice off of her car, get it warmed up and turned around in the driveway so all she had to do is get in and drive off. My black lab and I would kiss her goodbye watch her drive off and then we would do the "Yes the house is all ours dance! " She caught us once when we started the dance before she had driven out of sight ....or maybe the neighbors squealed on us , but that was the end of the dancing out in the middle of the street!

Terry,
I don't want to rub it in, but it was in the upper 60's this morning and I got to sit out under the awning and have my coffee. The storm and rain held off till after 1pm. Just so you don't feel too bad, it is supposed to be in the 30's the next 2 nights with a possibility of frost.

OOOH Frank, I had some thoughts but they would edit them, . Just kidding . I am glad your down there where its warm, it is not nice here, but there are other places getting hit harder so I can't complain. Hopefully next year the TH will be done so we can at least stay part of the winter. Pete, yep I do the car thing, least I can do. DW don't eat breakfast so that gets me out of that.

Hi Guys;
Just caught up with this thread. Good morning all!

For all you fellows sweltering around freezing I would like to tell you that we hit -20 the other night. Fortunately it warmed up to 28 now so things seem really warm. LOL

Hey a quick question. Can you really freeze your ass off?

Hi All, Coffee is tasting very good this morning! Sounds like the polar vortex is affecting everyone the same! Halfway around the world, not so much. The temps here are still the same, and the rains have gone away! Everyone stay warm! Rail

P.S. What happened to Bap, the OP?

Good Morning/afternoon, Gordon, I had a feeling you were a northern neighbour with temps that cold. We will have Janet in our prayers, its better to have a decision then to be up in the air.
