Allen says they've got replacements for the inner and outer window frame at Pontiac RV's online catalog. He was gonna call them tomorrow and see if there are any in stock (unlikely, we know, but never hurts to ask).

We went back out to her with some stiff plastic and duct tape to protect the broken framing, because we're getting allot of rain this week.

I'd appreciate any thoughts you guys have on fixing it...Attachment 182696

Charlene,

Try "Colaw RV Salvage" they have parts for almost everything I have needed. It's a great resource. Don't bother with the website because in a word it "sucks," call them then email a photo of what you need. They will check and get back to you

Lloyd, Ron and Charlene,

The Natchez Trace is a great road. The speed limit is 50 and for the most part people don't tailgate. I just set the cruise control and ran 350 miles without stress and it was great to be able to stop at all of the historic sites along the way. Loved it. Last night we pulled into Vicksburg at the Ameristar Casino RV Parks for three nights. They have FHU's and Cable for $25 a night and they have a heated pool. Bonus!

When we leave here we're headed to Tyler State Park in Texas just off I-20 for two nights then on to Rio Vista for turkey day.

Y'all be good, I'm headed to the casino to donate.

Hello all!

Well we found our friends a great used golf cart, like new was hardly used. Need to go back tomorrow and get it.

We also stopped at the 4wd shop,,,, of course I spent money. LOL

So anyway, we were more than 1/2 way there, so we decided to go visit Ms Prissy. Last time we were there was last Wednesday at noon, and we got there today at about noon, so they had 3 days on it in between visits. Pictures below. Both the driver side hydraulic compartment and the passenger side stair well framing and structure has been rebuilt!!! And they look great. As we thought, the only damage to the hydraulic system appears to be the reservoir tank for the pump. A new one has been ordered. Once it arrives the hydraulic system will be tested, for our coach it operates both the jacks and the slideouts. It appears it is all good, however they are checking it out to make sure.

They also had the donor cap cut to match up to our cap, owner says work to actually marry them will start late this week, or early next week.

Attached are this visits pics, you will have to look close at the pics from last week to compare and see the work completed, but it is looking great.

Lloyd, Ms Prissy is looking great. They are getting all the bent and broken infrastructure back in place and can then start putting on the pretty.

Charlie and Martha, Rebecca and I visited Tyler State Park a few years back. Very pretty park. The bathrooms were outdated but might have been fixed by now. There is a wild cat rescue place close to the park that is worth the visit. Up close and personal.

Happy trails everyone

Good Morning,

Coffee is brewing and will be tasty in just a few minutes here.

Worked the last few days some pretty long and busy shifts. Sunday was the only short day and then had a shoot with my Ladies. We actually showed them how to take their firearms down and clean them and put them back together. Watched a video on home defense that was pretty informative. It was just to wet and cold to go outside and shoot.

Yep, coffee is tasty!

While I was off with my knee surgery they hired a couple new people. Annual testing is due by Nov 30th and one of those tests involves cardiac rhythms. These girls had not had a lot of experience with this. So, I offered to teach them and we started working with them. Yesterday, one of the girls decided to take her test. You are given numerous heart rhythms with nothing marked on them and no multiple choice options. You have to name the pattern and why you think it is that pattern.

She passed the test along with the other four also! Critical values and lead placements. NOT passing and you loose your job. Only two more to go. Hopefully this week Course I am high fiving her and hooting! Love it when people succeed at these because they are so intimidating.

51 days till retirement. I am counting it down.

Lloyd, MS Prissy is looking good. I bet you are getting excited. Not having her at home and being able to work on her has to have been very difficult for you. Soon, my friend, soon.

Ron, I was telling a girl at work about Emmett the wander dog. Showed her the picture of you two. She thinks he is adorable and so are you. She loves that you rescued him.

Charlie, I love that the people here share good info about how to and where to get it. Good info there for Charlene.

Hope all the rest are doing good. Will check in later today since I am home today.

Lynne

Morning Everyone;
Big day today. Janet is getting a skin graft for her implants as well as the posts. Ice cream and yogurt for a few days. Not sure what Janet is going to eat?? LOL

Talked to Tim and they are doing well. Tim has to wear the boot for a while longer. Joe is ambivalent about the upcoming surgery. I talked with him and he was not worried. More upset about a garbage truck running over the fresh asphalt in front of the house.

Good news on the coach. The work is looking good.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Oil Leak

Not a good morning,
Discovered a leak after switching to synthetic oil last oil change. Coming out of oil filter. Changed back too reg 10w30/ AC Delco filter, still dripping. Been changing oil for years never had this happen before. Valve gaskets okay. applied oil too rubber gasket on filter.
Baffled,
Tim

Hi Tim, did you check to see if the old filter gasket stuck to the cars filter base? I've seen this happen many times in the shop

Tim,
I agree with Terry, one of the most common causes of oil leaks is the filter gasket. You and Joe continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Lloyd,
Things are looking good on Ms Prissy. Hopefully they continue with the great progress, and that you get to Yuma earlier than expected.
Have a great evening all,
Frank

Good Evening,

Nice day, went for gas, went to get lunch for work, and came home and took a nap. Nice day!

I worry about what will happen when I leave work. There is only one person left who has the qualifications to teach. She has no desire to do so and will refuse. I don't know who will teach the techs on the floors who do EKGs and who will teach those in our department. Not going to be my problem but I worry about them none the less. Hospitals are cutting way too much.

Talked to Joe today. He sounds good and is positive about his surgery. I told him you were all wishing him well and praying for him and said to tell you all "Thank You". He is probably going to come on to IRV2 soon.

I work tomorrow and then off Thursday and work Friday. Switched some days to accommodate one of the guys that is working two jobs so my schedule is kind of screwy.

Got to get going. All have a good night and a good day tomorrow.

Lynne

Evening,
No luck with oil leak I asked Joe twice About gasket on oil filter and was told in so many words that he checked it twice.
He feels that its leaking @ oil pump. Does the filter attach to the oil pump on a Chevy 454???
Changed oil/Filter on Gennie. Bought a new thermoset for Furnace Didn't help. Bought a new fan switch for dash heat no luck with that either.

Hi Tim!

Try this to locate the leak. Clean the area the best you can.... use wrags, paper towels etc,,, whatever you can do to get it clean. Then use baby powder, and open the top about 1/2 way. Keep squeezing the baby powder so the entire area is covered with powder like it snowed. Then while someone checks the area start the engine,,,,, the leaking area will turn the baby powder to black very quickly.
