Lynne,
Sorry to hear that the Winnie is gone, maybe the next one has your name on it. Sometimes a low bid just doesn't work. Hope that your neck pain is better by now.
Jay,
You have some really good ideas that you share with us.
Frank

Good Morning, Lynne, better luck next time ! Tim good luck on the tire cover search, If I got covers for all my tires it would cost a mint . Jay holey cats that bus would need a whole bunch . Gordon, we had freezing rain and some snow last night, not much just enough to say winter is still here. Hope all have a pain free day.

Morning all. Warm and vertical. Going to be a good day. Staying at Cedar Hill State Park, just south of Dallas, Tx. High 40's last night, clear blue this morning. Yesterday took MH to Southern Plains Cummins to put engine on dyno, after replacing head end of last year. 200 hp, 1300 torque. Spec sheet from Gulfstream said I started with 160 hp.
Today easing south to Mother Neff State Park. In January they opened a new section with full hookups and we have been wanting to see what it looks like. Very pretty little park on the Leon River bottoms. Then tomorrow back to sister's place and the MH parking pavilion. ☺ Brother is visiting so we will have enough to play 42 dominoes.
Great day everyone.

Good morning! Well no freezing here but some rain on and off. Along with the rain it's also storm and tornado season. Comes with the territory so not complaining. Ready to get The Discovery out and rolling! Started the spring clean, the pre trip wipe down. It always looks so good when we wipe ALL the wood surfaces down with "Old English" polish and smells good too! Have a good day!

HA HA, Vertical is a good thing,
Currently +20
Feels like +18
Give me strength,
All's well on the home front. No luck with the tire covers (explained on other forum). Glad I didn't take the MH.
Don't have much, BUT it's Friday. It meant a lot when I was working but now just another day...
Like ronspradley stated I'm vertical at least.
Coffee is good still from yesterday but still good.
Have a Great one,
Tim

I'll keep this short this morning. I'm glad some of you are still moving around and having fun. it saddens me that some of us are in pain I wish I could fix it for you.
Melissa and I had a good time at the gun range yesterday shot up 3 boxes of ammo that I paid less than $6 for 50 of. Then we went by Cabelas to replace it at $16 a box she almost freaked out. But we did check out some new handguns and I think we're going to have a little 22 caliber semi-auto in the collection soon. Seems her 380 has a little bit more kick than she's comfortable with at the gun range.
That's about it for us. Going to be out in the shop today trying to get my old four by four running it's cold here this morning. So that's why haven't even gotten out of bed yet.
Time to get up and get moving with that y'all have a great day.

Yes , we spread that around the foundation of the house up north, keeps the fleas and the ants at bay! Sally also had me buy her one of those plastic pump sprayers, she looks like something out of a Mad Max movie, doing her favorite hobbies, Killing Ants with Dawn and water in it. LOL. Been a problem with big black ants since in my delerium ,I got her to let me buy an old Starcraft popup upstate to make a little trailer out of, dragged it home and opened it up and like a gazillion Carpenter Ants came out! I sprayed gas on them trying to get them but they made a home in my garage and I had to replace all the sills and wood about a foot and a half up! That was fun, NOT! Bobby

All vertical here as well. Freezing rain did not occur. Supposed to be 55 today and did not freeze overnight. Snow will be going quickly.
All of the snow on the shed roof melted without sliding off. I was hoping to see an avalanch but conditions just did not work out.
Janet is entering the next pain level. The drugs are not really working but some movement modification is helping. Surgery in 10 days. Bit of a scare as the budget came out yesterday and they announced some health cuts. Praying that they do not affect the operation. Fingers crossed too.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Learned that borax bit from a show dog person. She is also a groomer and a retired breeder. Saved the Parti-Poodle. For dog show peeps, she bred Kaiser.
Anyway, have used it many times after dog sitting for other peeps.
Lynne - Sorry abou the Winnie. I know how that feels.
Somehow threw my back out yesterday, or I should say while sleeping the night before. Just got a lesson in not complaining about hip pain cause boy oh boy this is 100 times worse.
Be well my friends.

Good Afternoon All, Just watched the 6:00 news/weather they say we can get three inches of snow tomorrow, we are 90 some days since the temps have got to 50*. YUCK Jay so sorry your back is now giving you fits, that sometimes happens because your hip is bad you are no longer walking ect. correctly, I know this first hand, I have wore a Tens Unit on my back for years, that's how I got thru the last years driving, because you can't/shouldn't take pain drugs, not sure If your doc will clear you for a unit but for me they do work. Gordon, I feel for Janet, hope that budget thing doesn't mess things up. Have a great night all.

Yeah, the inside actually isn't trashed but the smoke damage means it would all have to come out and be reworked. Genset fire that then caught the steer tires and well.. Folks, make sure your genset has no fuel leaks.
Turns out it's actually in Alabama not Oregon. But the guy from Oregon who listed it said he has, in Oregon, a Prevost with a wrecked front as well as parts bus he'd sell me for $15K. Both have working drivetrains. Great except I'd have to have them both towed/trucked to Oklahoma where the ranch is since neither can be made drivable on his lot and I'm sure not taking that on here in WA. Trying to leave here for crying out loud.
Anyway, it would be fun to do. Naturally, I'd have to put 4 or 5 slides in it. Maybe a fold out veranda just for the heck of it. DW just said I could get another car project when we get to the ranch. I'm thinking she trying to distract me from the buses.
Back is a little better now, but still whacked. At least it's back in.

Good Morning, Jay, that bus reminds me of my first job, it was in a diesel shop and there was a COE ford semi that had a fire in the dash area, my job was to rewire that whole truck plus the air lines. It taught me patience and a whole lot about wiring, took me all winter on and off, (it was one of those jobs that sat in a corner waiting) To this day I love to work on automotive wiring. Hope the back continues to get better, take care.
