Tim, that is very cool! Would love to see that. Hawk probably really needs that meal this time of year.

MK, not sure what I will do when I no longer need to drive up there every week. LOL Very wet here also, my pond is full to the brim.

Rail, that is a lot of scooters! Do you have one?

So visited Ms Prissy. Couldn't really get any pictures, she is crammed in a bay with a tractor that is seriously wrecked, and to make it tighter the slides are 1/2 out,,,, they are working the interior. The new washer/drier was sitting outside the coach, ready for install this afternoon. A walk around showed a good number of things yet to be completed. Despite all that they are going to call me wednesday afternoon, and confirm readiness for pickup. He is now offering a pickup on Thursday morning as a option as well, we shall see.

Given we are not commited to go anywhere till the 31st, not really rushing this. If it is not 100% ready we will wait.

We are giving serious thought to camping one night up near the shop, to checkout all systems figuring it would be easier to return and get something addressed as needed. Challenge is, we took everything out of her back in August, so will need to come up with a 1 night stay over list.

Charles, you seem to have some unusual awareness about these things. Do you by any chance dress in black and drive a black sedan with blacked-out windows? And wear dark shades?

We are back at the Jungle Coaster today! Went twice!

Good Morning,

Down to 36* this am in Florida. Wow, but it does warm up some during the day. Still better than home and sunshine.

The new A/C is supposed to be installed today. Curious to see how they plan to get it up on the roof. Weighs 109 lbs. He says he puts it on top of his box truck and then moves it to our roof. Will see this afternoon. 63* for the high today.

I think I am trying to catch up on the sleep I lost while working the last 39 yrs. I am loving my naps but I am getting way to lazy. My sleep patterns are way off. May need to set an alarm again so I can get back on track. Is this normal when you retire?

Ms Prissy is a coming home! Charles and Beverly have a coach, Gordon, behave while unattended (as much as you can anyway), and I think Friday is Popeye's birthday! Terry is about to start another project and camping weather is a coming! Yay! Ron, I am surprised Emmett did not offer to go into the kitchen and get your coffee for you or at least something he would like. That dog is something. I think most of us wish they would put the time somewhere and then leave it the heck alone.

Charlene, do you have Clora Mae home yet? Soon?

You all take care. Lynne

Good morning all!

32* and Carolina blue sky, headed to mid- 50"s today. We need a few dry days, very wet here.

Rail, you love that coaster! No pics of Jira on it, I assume she don't ride?

Neighbor buddy needs a hour or 2 of welding today. He is the one I sometimes work for on fence jobs, the hammer attchment that drives the posts in broke. It take a heck of a beating, gonna need my best welds.

Also going to get all the stuff out that goes in Ms Prissy, made a list of things we will need to camp one night up in the area near the repair shop after pickup. Things like the hoses, bedding, towels, etc.. Going to compile that and get ready for when that call comes.

Have a great day all!

Hello all,

Rail that coaster looks fun! Martha and I went on a tour of the King Ranch in Texas. For those that don't know it is the largest ranch in the world. You can read about it in our blog if you like.

Good morning alll!

32*, Carolina Blue sky. Headed for mid-50's.

Wow, Charles that ranch is huge. Amazing.

VNM, your trip sounds great, besure to check in here and share pics. Good luck and enjoy!!!!

Popeye, the temptation to keep going will be real. However we don't even have dishes in there, so when we get home we have lots to pack. A one nighter will feel pretty good after being without over 7 months. I sure hope your weather gets more spring like soon. Our local forecast is for cool weather at least the next 10 days.

Possible call this afternoon to go pickup tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed.

Got involved in helping my buddy measure a fence painting job (13,300') which kept me busy in the morning, and then welding on the post driver took the afternoon. The thing was just about done for.

Anyway, need to get going and get the coach stuff out today as that never happened.

Have a great day all!

L.

Doing well'
ruby isn't doing to well she also has diabetes, she needs to shots per day, the next few days will tell. We don't want her to suffer.
I'm going too start getting the 64 ready for a new water pump and front seal. Should be interesting. Once that's done we will start on the PA hoping we won't need to replace the 2 frozen battery's. Then back to the furnace, and dash heat, rear heater all went out last fall, and install of running lights, air horns.

I took the old Bimini top too the shop to have a new one made for the pontoon. Man they haven't gotten any cheaper. When I was boating back in the 80ties I had all canvas replaced including windows and screens for what the price of just the Bimini.

rail
how fast are you going on the sled? u look like your flying looking at your hair.

Tim, these sleds go very fast, not sure how fast, but fast enough that you apply the brakes, no matter how brave you are! They do have automatically applied brakes, at certain places, if you are going too fast, (out of control) (hint, hint!)
The closest thing would be a bob sled track, I'm guessing?
It is fun for sure! The one pic that has the #'s on it was from the coaster positioned on the track in one of the fast curves! Rail!

Good Morning;
The track looks fast. Too fast for me. I will watch.

Temperatures are starting to warm up. 66 overnight. Highs in the high 80. Was quite humid yesterday but not overly uncomfortable. Pleasant to be out in the evenings, 72 at 9:30. AZ does not go to daylight savings otherwise it would have been at 10:30!

Replaced the water pump because the replacement was acting up. Called the support number and they said just send the label in and they will send a new replacement. Pretty good support. Now if they would just crawl in there and switch the pumps!! Getting quicker at it. Not going to pursue this as a career though.

Hope Lloyd gets the pickup call today. We are getting tired of waiting to see the final pictures. Tell them it is past the time for fun and games. We want finished pictures! Pack a pot, frying pan, three plates, handful of silverware, diesel, jack, chips (snacks) and a sleeping bag. Anything else can be picked up at Walmart. Hope the campout is trouble free.

Park is starting to empty out as birds are returning home. We are starting to think about it as well. Looking forward to M&G.

Have a wonderful day.

Good morning all!

29*, Carolina blue sky. Headed to low 60's.

Tim, glad your doctors visits are going well. Your over due for some better news. Hope Ruby gets better. I know she is very special to you and Joe.

Rail, interesting they give you some control on the coaster. You do look like you were flying in that picture as Tim said.

Well, no Ms Prissy. Yesterday we spent a good amount of tme packing everything we need into the Jeep to go get her this morning, then got a call about 4pm that she is not ready. The owner is away for a 4 day weekend, and left us in the hands of his assistant which I donot have much faith in based our experience last 7 months. Anyway they have a few problems they are struggling with, and also just don't have it all done. The 2 problems are the front marker lights up top are not working, somethiing broken from the custom wiring for the new cap. And the bigger problem is the rear axle hub on the drivers side is leaking. During the tow to Charlotte the tow truck removed the axle shaft from the drivers side to allow towing with the rear wheels down and not cause transmission damage. They thought a new paper seal on the cap would fix it, however it has not. They have a specialist coming today to look at the axle problem. There is also a small list of items they just need to complete.

The plan is they will get in touch with me by 10am tomorrow if they get her ready and we can pickup in the afternoon. If not tomorrow we move to next week.

Have a great day all!

L.
