Headders in California

Can u run headders and still be smog Legal in a 1991 pinnacle in California I have no cats

I think I would go to or call a smog inspection place. They'd tell you in a second if it is legal.

If you are just passing through I bet nobody will take a second look.

If you live there and have to have a smog test done, maybe another result.

We drove our 1994 Airstream MH with a 454 into California several times after I removed the cat and the world is still turning.

I think the last time was in 2014.

Headers might be ok, but check with a smog place first. They are not flexible with the smog rules out here.

I think any speed equipment for use in California must have CARB (California Air Resources Board) approval.
