HELP identifying tin can trailer
Please help, any help would be great. This was a gift and there is no title. I have looked on the frame/tongue inner passenger & all over for manufactuer model year& no luck? Only see ontop of tongue this info which seams to be only about the weight rating
5,000
Gross Load
2 Ball
Rockford, Ill
Patent Pend.
I’m trying to title it so I can pull it down the road but need to identify the trailer. It seams to be 10 or 12’ land has a bath, fridge stove folding bunk, and a booth/table for eating.

Most states will allow boats, trailers, etc. to be declared "homemade" and issue a serial number or VIN to be attached for identification. Have you explored that possibility?

Looks a little like a '70's "Tag-a-Long". Not sure where you'd find the VIN, though.

Depending on age a lot of these trailers had very short vin's or no vin's. I'm in Alabama and the lady told me just to make something up and so I did then engraved it in the chassis.

The frame is by Atwood.
It appears to be either a Sunline or Aloha, I would go with Aloha based on the wheel arches, but so many of that era looked the same its hard to tell.
Here is a link to a vintage camper site that has more info:

In all honesty, it could be anything.
A picture of a vintage Aloha.

In the '60's Alabama was the 'goto' state to get a title for a car that didn't have a clear title from another state. A friend who was a military brat was given a car by her dad who bought it on base with no title. Her dad drove it to Indiana and when we couldn't get it registered there it was suggested to take it to Alabama. A couple of days later we returned to Indiana and had no problem getting her newly titled Alabama car titled in Indiana.
That trailer looks like thousands of such units, some made in garages in Elkhart during the '60's. If the serial number isn't stamped on the tongue or front of the frame, I'd go the 'homemade' route.

Another possibility. Forester.
Link to another vintage site:

And a pic... Note the wheel arches and windows, these were produced in IL as well... The site says that they did not use Atwood frames, seeing as how no records were kept then that is hard to verify.
