Holiday Rambler TT/TV connection for ASCS

I just bought a 73 HR Vacationer Model 220 (22 footer) and it has the Trail-a-Matic Automatic St system installed. Only problem is there is supposed to be a wire from the TV to the TT in addition to the other normal 7 wires. So I need 8 wires from the TV to the TT. I don't really need the backup lights, so I _could_ use that wire, and I guess I could create a 7way-to-7way adapter to do this (break into the adapter cable to connect the wire from the controller in place of the back-up lights). Just wondering what others have done. Have you abandoned the system, used the system, and how you wired up to the system if you did. Also, if you are using the system, what do you think about it?
