Just remember, while you're inside the motorhome you can't see the outside.
But everyone else has to.

I would feel a 10 foot pole to be inadequate.

Make those flames RED, love it, and put some chrome tips on those lake pipes.

Seem like lots of folks don't like idea...that's why you don't see flames on new RV's.
But that's really too bad. I still like it
How about this one...

Love it on your rig, but would not put it on ours. Would be too conspicuous for us.

Honest opinion
I saw an RV in a campground with the orange and red flame design. I didn't care for the colors or design. It would be very expensive to repaint.

If you can keep a light color on the area from the bottom of the windows up you will find it's easier to cool inside. Even better if you can use light color from floor level up.

If you like it, go for it - it's your RV. However, it's not for me. It's not so much that I don't like wild and crazy - I do, but flames are for hot rods ... great acceleration from a big engine on a light body. Flames mean "performance" to me, and RVs just don't have it. They strike me as a visual oxymoron. Other than that, they mean my RV is on fire, and that's not something I like to think about

Looks like you have an early 90's Allegro there by the profile. So do I. My wife would love your design. I too like it but I would probably tone it down a bit - kinda like the picture that was posted of the black rig with the flames.
Personally, I think the lines of our Allegro's kind of lend themselves to a more sporty paint scheme. I'd do it too if it weren't so expensive.
Good luck with your project. I'd like to see some pics of your rig if possible.
Regards,
Tom

Not for me. But I tell you my son-in-law would have to have it!
He does the flame thing with his garage, stools, tool cabinet. Motorcycle.

I agree with "flames are for hot rods", but these are not technically "flames", as such. I don't really care for normal flames, even on a hot rod. These are called "Tribal flames", and to me they are more an abstract design than flames, but have a flow similar to the type of flames you'd see on a hot rod. I thought about toning down the colors from black and white to light grey and dark grey, but that would make the windows stand out in the design more and would, in my opinion, ruin the "flow" of the design. Also, all the tribal flames I've seen anywhere have been black and white. I know it looks kinda wild on a motor home the size of a billboard, but I think that's why I liked it instantly when I saw it. It just "grabbed" me It's not an Allegro, it's a Gulf Stream Classic 37' (actually measures about 34'). There must not be a lot of them out there, as I have seen only two others (one for sale on ebay, and one on the road) since we bought ours about six yrs. ago.
