How to connect fittings to blackwater tank?

I inherited a 1966 Shasta and am having to replace the toilet & blackwater tank I was finally able to locate one made of a carbon fiber type, but there are no premade holes & it is totally sealed @ this point. I'm unsure how to connect the fittings I need to make it function properly. Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance for your time & effort to help me!

Buck,

These days they use this type of connection. Ameri-Kart 3" Rubber Inlet Grommet - Holding Tank Fittings - Black Water Tanks - Plumbing
You will need right sized hole saws.
