Question How to tell what roof you have?

Can someone tell me how to tell the difference between the two types of roofs Dicor or rubber 5vr is a 91 Mallard Spinaker got it used last year it does have a white power coming off the roof so I know that I will need to address that this spring if it ever dries out and warms up some.

Thanks for your responce John

Is Dicor not simply the brand name for a EPDM rubber?

I think you're correct. It's like people call most any 4X4 a Jeep, or any facial tissue is a Kleanx or....

White powder coming off your rubber (Dicor) roof is normal.
Scrubbing it down good is the only cleaning it should need. Some folks like to put a "treatment" on the roof after cleaning which can minimize the chalking.
Inspect for any tears, holes or areas of extreme aging, wherein the black base rubber starts showing thru the white top layer.

You are both correct brand name, they sell the .40 thickness EPDM roofing, you can get white backed EDPM commercially in multiple thicknesses.
