Yep fixed one leak and caused two more to show up. Someone please tell me why we work on these old vintage motor homes? DW thinks that tinkering must be a disease. She might be right!

Like they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Although tinkering might be fun, sometimes it can be overdone...And you know that DW is always right....

man law: things must be fiddled with. nothing is ever "just so" for long.

we do these things, because we MUST.

that's what i keep telling myself, when i look at the Southwind, the two Falcons, and my f150.......

DW just looked at my rolls of Duct Tape and cans of WD-40, She ( Scary thought now) asked where my vice grips are.

That's not "tindering". That's "Preventive Maintenance".

I have a tee shirt that says: "I CAN FIX ANYTHING ANYWHERE"
On the back is "WHERE IS THE DUCT TAPE"

I once had a VW Beetle that I called the "chain reaction car." I found that anytime any little problem cropped up, repairing it usually caused 2 more problems to be visible.

Many years ago a friend of mine decided to replace the kitchen sink in his house. By the time he was done the new sink had all new pipes to and from it - all the way back! He was not happy.

Yesterday installed 2" receiver hitch on my 98 CRV. Partially installed, only had to take it off once to hit it with a sledge hammer. Next time it went on with no problems. Any installation that goes right does not happen very often with me. See y'all down the road.
