Glad you identified him.

Actually, kinda pretty, and I am NOT a snake person....

That said, I don't kill snakes unless I HAVE to, only if they are poisonous and threatening my family or pets.

I had a red tailed common boa in a previous live. And yes she was "cute". I appreciate snakes, they keep the rodent population down on the farm and in most cases just want to be left alone!

I have had eaten a few types of snakes and never thought it tasted like chicken. Then one evening I was watching a survival show and Bear Grylls was eating and sharing rattle snake with some celebrity. The quote as I remember it was if you are buying chicken that taste like this you need to go to a better store.

Somehow, "Cute" and "Snake" just don't sound like they should be used in the same sentence...

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

The important question is:

Where is his Momma?

Yep, on the roof. Florida, gotta love the wild life. Most of it wants to kill me.
Or eat you.

Got that right neighbor. Everything wants to eat us. Mosquitos are the state bird. I thought central Calif had a bad case of them. These things try to knock you down.

Looks similar to the blanche back rattlesnake which also looks like the Texas night snake, without the fangs.
Funny how Docile they are when that small, the larger ones would have tried to bite you.

Oh, the next day he was gaping his teeny tiny mouth wide open for whatever reason. My kid thought it was soooo cute as my pink would have barely fit into it.

Here is my real buddy, Ace......nearly 8 feet long, free range in his own bedroom basically.
He is supposed to be a red tail Boa but unless the red in red tail is for some other reason, I see him as just a boa since no part of his tail is red.
A couple of the awesome positions I have found him in and then just him hanging out in my bed.

I'm considering screening in my bedrooom closet in the RV for his space since there would be no room for an aquarium nor has he been confined like that in several years.

You will definitely have to use plexiglass at least a quarter inch thick to hold him in.

Looks a little like a Reticulated python and I once owned, We called him Monty.
