I give up!

I am about ready to just trade this sucker in. After solving one big issue I have come across another possible problem..( a bad Power Transfer Switch) between that and the generator issues im at a breaking point. I'm starting to think about looking at somewhat newer units.

And STILL have issues with any other RV

It's the nature of the beast

Bad transfer switch...replace it

My transfer switch went bonkers at 8 months old while we were FTNg
Could not get Shore Power OR Generator Power
New transfer switch sent ....tech picked it up 2 days later (had to have Tech cause I wasn't 'qualified')
Tech removed bad one...installed brand spanking new one and it failed first swap
Tech contacted MFG....."We'll send an new one. Please send old one back so we can troubleshoot------we have been having issues with them"

WHAT!!

Done....no auto transfer switch
Manual Switch installed by ME
125 amp subpanel/2 50 amp double pole mechanically interlocked CBs
Gen wired to one set of CBs
Shore wired to other set of CBs
Can only close one set of CBs at a time due to mechanical interlock

AND if I need parts.....50A CBs available most ABY hardware store

So fix the transfer issue.
And enjoy your RV (until next problem surfaces)---then fix it

The more you use the rig the more things stop working. So you fix that whatever it is and move on to the next one.
A couple of weeks ago on mine. A water line came off flooded the living room had to pullout carpet. The toilet started leaking had to pullout carpet. Hot water heater stopped working needed a new board. Heater started acting up from lack of use.
We living fulltime in it. I'm just glad we are parked at this time and not on the road.
If I had a newer rig under warranty I'd probably be waiting a couple of weeks or more for the repairs
