Thanks! Its an 88 Silver Eagle, and after a little over 200 miles into eastern OK, I am making 5.3MPG so all in all, I am having a great trip so far!

34'6" long on a Ford/John Deere chassis. Got to Witchita Falls TX and am camping out at the local Walmart, although I drive a truck for a living I am not too fond of teuck stops....

I move drill rigs for a living, the last couple years has been living in motels, wether its Williston ND, Gramd Junction CO, now Odessa.....

I still gotta unpack between working 16-18 hours a day in the wrst Texas oilfields but will get some after straightening it up.
I really like the snowbird idea though!!!

Nice rig

John Deere/Oshkosh huh? Drives nice dont it Little surprised at the 5.3 mpg though.. would've figured about 1-1.5 mpg more..
