Inherited 1985 Fleetwood Limited "Yikes"

Hi All. I just inherited a 35' Fleetwood Limited and I have no idea what to do with it. I'm not an RVer because of health problems and time, although I have been on a trip before in it with my Aunt and Uncle. Research tells me that it was once top of the line for Fleetwood. I'm not sure if I should or can sell it or what. Sure could use some advice.

Thanks in advance

Well if you are not into RVing and you don't want to use it for extra guests at your house then I would sell it. A potential buyer will want to make sure everything works, no leaks, body in good shape, enterior good, engine runs good, and tires are under 5 years old. Given that you might be able to get $3k to $5k for it. Go on craigslist and look at simular MH in that age and size. That will give you an idea of current value. The only problem is that it is 27 years old. I have an 87 Allegro and the value to sell is no where near what it is worth. Based on age.

Good Luck
Arnold

I would initially try and sell it. If after a few months without any luck, I would then consider donating it and taking the write-off.

Thank you

Thank you for the replies. Yeah, just a little overwhelmed with the whole thing. It's not that bad though. I'll try Craigslist and probably try to put one on here too. I know it's older but i'm sure somebody might want it. I drove it over here and it could probably use a tune up. Everything else seems to work. They took pretty good care of it. It sat the last couple years as my uncle was battling cancer. We'll see what happens. You might see me back here if I run into something I can't figure out.

Thanks again!
