Congrats on the success. Sounds like you're off to a good start. It's a great feeling to get it home. Glad everything worked okay. When I drove mine the 150 miles home, it kept dying every 5 miles for no reason, but would start right back up. When I got it home discovered a loose wire. Runs great now. Waiting for pictures.

Photos coming tomorrow folks. I dragged out the trusty old shop vacuum then couldn't stop. It got cool and dark and I finally decided it was time to come in. DW had already gone to bed. Guys and new toys ya know! I've got a few days off. That means lots of work and since I've got most materials I'll be quite busy!

Well tear down of the upper front pull down bunk has commenced. Also ceiling that needs to be replaced. I have lots of photos but they will have to wait till the AM since I can't find my blue tooth adapter in the dark and DW is asleep. Computers are in bedroom so no lights on. I'm taking a chance as is. Not as bad as I'd thought but there is corrosion to the metal sides above and adjacent to the drivers door on the outer skin. I'll power sand the insides and treat with primer and fiberglass before adding wood and insulation back. Some will have to be done from the outside due to lack of reaching from the inside. Photos show what I'm talking about. Still having a blast. 3 more days off so alot will be done.

Its Home Pt 2
Here are some photos of the tear down. First is the ceiling looking forward. The ceiling panel with the light to the right and all others going aft except the bathroom are all in very good shape. I'll only remove the vinyl covering then either paint or recover. All those going forward need to be replaced.
Second photo is above the drivers windshield. Its a curved piece of 2x? Passenger side is in excellent shape with no rot.
Third photo shows above drivers entry door. Some corrosion which I'll repair from the inside before replacing insulation and paneling.
Random other photos included.

I brought my laptop out here so I can save photos easier. I've just finished fiber glassing the corrosion on the panel above the drivers door. Its now sealed with "air shield" and new styro foam insulation.
