Well we have gone and done it.

Over the weekend we purchased a 1979 Coachmen 20' Cadet Class C.

Any advice/condolances would be welcome.

Congrats on your find.
Enjoy fixing it up the way you want. If you go to "Find" you should find other peoples upgrades that may interest you. Have fun and post questions in other forums that may apply to chassis or what your trying to fix. By all means have fun.

Thanks all, We've mostly been cleaning it up and looking into replacing the cushion covers. We have to fill the propane and make sure everything is working there next. Hopefully this will happen next week.
