Some units have a data sticker in the cabinets, usually against the outside wall.
Also look for a data plate on the frame rails behind the hitch.
Did you get a title with it? If there is an old license plate on it the motor vehicle department might be able to help you.

Na! This camper sat in the woods the last 10yrs. and someone bought the property from the Deceased owners son and left it there 5 more years so the frame is pretty rusted up and needs bead blasting. also all the screws have rectangular slots and having a hard time locating a BIT.

List of screw drives - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You can find the Roberson screw bits at most hardware stores. They come in #1, #2 and #3 sizes.

Often a serial number or information is found on the rails in front on the exposed hitch rails. Harbor Freight has a few kits with various bits available:

Search results for: 'security bits'

Robertson bits are square, not rectangular.

A trailer of that vintage probably has clutch head screws. If you'll look closer you'll probably see that they're not really rectangular, but kind of look like a bow tie or a butterfly. Drivers are still available, but not as common as square. A simple solution is to grind the tip of an old screwdriver to fit, then replace the screws with something more common.

We kept our mid 1980s 19ft TT just cuz it became a part of the family and plan to restore it. As part of that, rather than try to patch or replace the metal roof we will be changing over to a rubber roof.
