Kwikee Lectro-matic double step

I have a Kwikee Lectro-matic double step model 2500 on my 1985 HR imperial 33. The step stopped working and is not bound up. The motor wasn't working so well any more. Can not find the motor anywhere. it looks like a window motor but not like any I have found out there so far. Anyone have any idea?

Compare your old step motor to a ACI 83094, (or a Cardone 42-309), power window motor at most any auto part store.
I used the ACI 83094 in my '96 Kwikee step, (but either would have worked).
Your '85 step may be use the same??

BTW, when comparing motors don't let the small gear on the replacement motor confuse you.
When replacing the motor the original Kwikee "adapter gear" is reused....(you must remove it from the small gear on the original Kwikee motor and put onto the small gear on the replacement motor).

Good luck.
