Kwikee step parts

I'm looking to replace a kwikee IMGL from a 94 Bounder. I can't tell what the correct replacement parts would be. Anyone able to identify what I need?[

If your motor is still good and you are OK with doing a little DIY, I just installed a double throw/double pole momentary switch by the door to manually open and close the steps. Cheap, simple but not quick!

I have a 1993 Bounder with the same steps as yours. It can be a bit confusing finding the proper replacement parts. Some dealers will have the correct part # but show an incorrect image which adds to the confusion. The number series of the control unit is what dates the steps. Our old steps are pre/IMGL (Integrated Motor Gearbox Linkage)
Your motor assembly will have a large cast zinc alloy gear which is driven by the pinion gear of the motor. If there is any damage to this gear it can be rotated 180 degrees to provide an area of previously unused teeth, for only half of this gear is used to extend the steps. The gear in my unit was in perfect condition.
The control linkage on mine which this gear drives had small cracks showing, so a replacement linkage was ordered. This new part is carried in the motorhome in case the old one finally breaks. While waiting for the new linkage I cleaned up and lubed the old motor gear box assembly and since it was working so well I left it alone. The linkage is easy to replace.
Here is a link for the replacement linkage used on your steps. I bought mine at PDX RV LLC for $60.42 and that included shipping.
Lippert 379649 Step Linkage Kit A Control For Motor Assembly (Kwikee 909534000) | American RV Company

The motor is the same as is used for automobile power windows. Take it to an auto parts store and they can find a correct match for yours. Save the pinion gear from your old motor.

The control unit on mine is working so have not shopped for one but I believe the link below takes you to the proper replacement for our steps. Read the note under additional information for more enlightenment.
Kwikee Pre IMGL 9510 Step Control Unit - Step Repair Parts - Steps - Entry Door - Hardware

Regular cleaning and lubrication of the linkages of the steps themselves is the key to a long life for this accessory.

DPDT switch on mine as well. I'm in the UK but anyway..£5 for the switch as opposed to £300 for a new control board. Took me an hour tops to wire it up.
The motor is the same as on a ford focus (iirc) window mechanism. If you get the part number off the motor and cross reference it it's easy enough to find.

Mine had a ford window motor. You pull apart and there are three barrel shaped plastic insert which can be bought for less then 12 bucks. Dorman part number 747-412.
