Landing gear help
1985 Alpenlite 5er. I'm sure she came equipped w/manual landing gear, but somewhere in the past, it was converted to 2 side wind flip up trailer jacks.
They work, but very sloppy, and certainly labor intensive! Looking inside the 2 access doors under the bed area, you can see the massive frame structure, and two vertical members that supported the original jacks. I'd like to come up with some kind of power jacks, but have no idea where to start. I f someone out there has one of these old ones, I'd sure like to see some pix of how it is supposed to be rigged up. Thanx in advance!
