On the way home from Arizona a year ago we lost the windshield wipers. I completely forgot about it until the other day when we started looking at our coach to do list.
The photos show what happened. The arm from the wiper motor to the two arms to the wipers stripped out. What I believe happened is the installer of the new windshields installed arms incorrectly and the result was the weakest link failed, softer arm stripped out.
New arm is on its way from Winnebago, nice to have the part diagrams online to make explaining things to the lady at WGO what I want.
We’re talking to the traffic control about take off from Yuma in three weeks. Glenda is already homesick for Yuma and we haven’t left yet.
The other night Jerry and Sharon of Alpha cult fame came by for dinner. Yesterday we went over to the BLM to see with Alpha Gold. It’s amazing with his woodworking and mechanical skills and her decorating and seamstress ones what they have done. It’s worth seeing if you ever get the chance.

One of the projects I want to get done is some personalizing of the front wall. These cactus just came out of the acid bath. They will be painted green with yellow flowers and placed on the flat black lamps on each side of the archway.
The hummingbirds seem to have moved on, doggone it. Our last baby dove was on his own on the ground yesterday evening when we got in from the bike ride. I put it back in the nest and then found it on the ground again this morning. We'll see how long it stays in today. Life can be harsh. The good thing is the mother was around this morning.

Probably 90 percent of the lamps on the walls here in the Foothills of Yuma have those lamps. The support/decorative arms appear to be forged, nice touch. I just wanted something different and the latest thing here is they are using automotive finishes on the yard art, why I used the glitter paint.

One of my many character flaws is I get an idea and will wear it out even when common sense and science says I'm wrong.
I decided I wanted to make some hummingbird feeders using beer bottles and some wrought iron. The issue was the bottles had to have the necks bent. I bent one and it worked fine. Then I tried it again and ten bottles broke after cooling back down. The internet says you can't do what I wanted to do without a kiln because of "thermal shock".
I tried using the forge as a kiln, didn't work.
One of the issues is I don't drink, yeah, who ever heard of an atheist that doesn't drink just because? Then a neighbor gave me some Corona bottles and I changed my techniques and it looks like I might have found a way to do it.
The concept is to have hummingbird feeders with "don't drink and fly" decals. The biggest issue with that now is finding how to say "don't drink and fly" in hummingbirdese.

Harvey, you made those Corona bottles look drunk, I mean like they've been on a bender. Hmm ... how do I say inebriated without using a pun?
Is that a sports cap in the neck of the bottle?

Packaging idea:???
"Safe for ALL Hummingbirds. Non-Alcoholic Recipe Included."
Maybe the recipe could be part of the decal (applied on the back of the bottle)?
Folks wouldn't lose the recipe that way.
