There’s almost 40’ of weld in each post-beam assembly is why it’s taking so long.
It’s coming together.

Or maybe just add a matching set on the other side so the building can fly straight when the winds get fierce?

The MCAS system has been successful in getting aircraft down to the ground . . . .so isn't that a positive thing when you are speaking of a building?!?

I got in last night about around eight. We’re making the braces. We have two carpenters making cuts with one of them tacking them in place. It all has to be done off of lifts and ladders. I get to do the welding🤪

It’s coming along fine. Just takes time and patience.

I’ve got the time

Looking good Harvey. Will not be long before you can get back to your barndominium.

Looks like quite a project Harvey. The finished product is going to be a site to see.

I had to quit mid weld yesterday after 6:00 because of hand cramps. I couldn’t hold the stinger in either hand.

I made a hand break to bend tabs so they could tek screw in components and stay ahead of me welding. It’s speeding things up.

I roll out of bed at 4:30 just like in the old days but with pain kicker

Hope your hands get better.

I did not envision that the project was going to be that big. Looks good.

I’m hoping to install skin tomorrow.

No Alieve last night and no cramps until about 6:30, I slept in. I’m working into shape.

The new barndominium will be made with same materials but bigger. My stuff is 11 1/2” C purlins with 3 1/4” leg vs his 12” X 2” leg.

The barndominium will be the size of the one we’re attaching to.
