I have taken Celebrex. Does not seem to help me. My older brother takes it for his RA. With good success. Instead of taking two 325 Tylenol. Take one 500. I like capsules better than tablets.
Celebrex has potential heart problems in some patients. Tylenol causes constipation in some.

Dang Harvey, I wish I had gotten my cell phone booster out and tried it when I was there last Spring. I bought it because service in Dateland was almost non existent. With the booster on a 24’ pole I could get 3-4 bars consistently. The pole is just an expandable painting pole that I strapped to a T post with bungee cords.

T Mobile added an antenna on the tower about 2 miles away while I was gone for the summer. I still use the booster, but only 16’ high. Once we move into Connie it will be essential.

I’m allergic to Celebrex. One dose and I’m in a special kind of Hades. But I used to love it. The really hard physical days I would call “Celebrex Days.”. I would come home, pop a Celebrex, and know that the next day wouldn’t be near as tough on me. then overnight I became allergic.

The tornados hit north and south of us. Here at Thereabouts casa manana it was just loud with lots of wind. I haven’t been outside yet but we buttoned things up for the storm so we should be alright.

The fifty foot antenna is needed for line of sight broadband service. Rise Broadband’s tower is 3.7 miles away and lucky for us the angle is such that we don’t have to get over the huge trees on our horizon just to the north of the pathway to Rise’s tower.

Barb our cell service has been great since we moved from AT&T to Verizon. My VA office in Bonham was a dead zone with AT&T, four bars with Verizon.

Late morning I have a follow up with the cardiologist. I also have to pick up a load of milled wood for a friend. But I hope to get more done on the building. Glenda is already arranging the furniture in the place.

Ron, been there, done that, 2007. I had removed a tower and low and behold a client wanted it if I could help him install it. It was a sixty footer.

Harvey, you don’t use Verizon for your internet? I guess I’ve been mobile too long and don’t think of any other sort of internet service. I have T Mobile now and get 50 gigs/mo.

Barb we have a Verizon MIFI. It’s great for emergencies but with two IPhone 10’s, two IPads, and an IMac the updates alone can chew up half of the bandwidth. We have a line of sight broadband service that is intermittent at best. It’s 10.+ dig download and 2.4 up, unlimited. But prime time in the evenings everything it seems like everything is buffering if it works at all. Their pipe is way too small and like I said, “service is spotty.” But worst of all is they will not answer a service call. It’s their way of doing business and allegedly that’s the way it’s always been.

If I put up a tower I can get 25 gig down from a reputable company with a two terabyte limit per month before throttling down. That’s 2,000 gig limit per month usage. And, huge and, the price is about $45.00 per month versus the $71.00 per month I’m paying for terrible service.

I went to my bud’s to check out my options on towers at his place. He has the components for me to assemble and install a 45’ tower and I will literally be out no cash for concrete for the base or tower components. But I will have to have guy wires or the tower within two feet of the new building. I really don’t like either of those options, guy wires or attaching to the building.

But he has two new towers in a wood container that is brand new. I figured they would be the ROHN 25’s like the used tower components. They’re not. They’re towers designed for carrying 1.4 KW wind generators. And they’re lattice towers, no guy wires, 15 meter. In the paper work is a bill for $6,500 for the package. He bought is at an auction for $600.00. I can have them for that.

Yesterday was a wash out as far as work went. The follow up visit with the cardiologist was a kiss and a promise to meet up again next October. Then the hauling stuff to a bud’s for another bud and returning to another bud’s with a 32’ gooseneck trailer load of steel deal fell through. We got 3/4” rain from the storm that produced the tornadoes in Dallas. But got 3 1/4” and damage to his chicken houses, he raises and sells fighting cocks. No way to grab the gooseneck or even get into unloading the load I was bringing. Then there was the investigation into the towers, easy day.

I need to get a hobby so I have something to keep my mind occupied.

Sister in Gatesville has Dish for TV and internet. Do not know price but it is reliable. Excluding hard rain. I have Verizon for my cell phone and another line for MIFI. The MIFI Jetpack is what I use when traveling. I use ATT UVerse at the homestead for TV and internet. Hope you are able to find something that works for you.

Sounds like a good deal on a tower. Past the $ transaction you'll only need time, which you seem to have plenty of these days. ROFLMAO. And then you get to come to Yuma sometime this winter, I hope. I need to pick your brain about making the cutouts for doors and windows in the container into security shutters.

I've been stopping at the Habitat for Humanity Restores in Yuma and Phoenix. I've found all the doors and windows for about $200 and some really nice kitchen and bathroom sinks with faucets for less than $100. AND! No sales tax. It’s amazing what people and businesses give away. If Glenda is somewhat flexible in the decor issues, y’all might want to check them out.

They are in Lehi, UT near SLC. My plan is to pick them up next fall on the trip south to save the shipping expense.

We’re allegedly going to get 4+ inches of rain in the next seven days. The big hiccup for me on that is I have to cover up the man lift when it rains. So that means ground work for the best part of the next week. I’ve got plenty of ground work.

Yesterday I brought home the Raum 15 meter towers. Supposedly the only thing missing is three pipes so I have one and two thirds towers. If necessary I can make up the three pipes. Each tower has four sections and a mast. Each mast has three pipes that are numbered for that section. Each pipe has tabs welded on to it in a pattern that is specific to that section. Worst case scenario I have a mast missing one pipe out of three different sections.

The manufacturer is out of business. They manufactured and sold small wind generating systems for farms and ranches. They under performed in electrical production, cost them the business.

What’s great about the tower is it much bigger than what I need. I can live with that for two reasons, first I don’t need any guy wires. Secondly and more interesting, it’s big enough to handle being a base station for a broadband company that might want to rent space on it.

What’s not so great is the concrete pad for the tower is massive, 7+ feet square and 2+ feet deep. I figure between five and six yards of concrete. I ordered another ten yards of premix last night. That’s 15 to 18 mixer loads for those keeping count, I feel older already.

My best asset besides Glenda of course, is I’m lucky. Yesterday was a perfect example of being lucky. Power line contractors replace two poles nearby. I went over and asked the foreman if one of the bucket trucks would help me figure out how high I needed to be for the antenna. I offered $20.00 and he accepted. They went up with a tape measure and my binoculars. Operator said he could see the tower with room to spare at 41 feet. Fifty feet should give me good clearance. There’s two broad band companies that could benefit from using my tower as a base. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So now you not only get to share my fun with making the barndominium, we got a lattice tower to enjoy assembling and installing.
