Barb we’ll just honk, will sound like a big rig with the air horns. I imagine by then we’ll be pretty well barn sour and wanting to get to Yuma home and settled in.

We have a couple of projects in mind for Yuma. One of them is picking up some sod and planting some grass for Dozer to enjoy. We know we’ll lose it during the summer. He’s had it good in Thereabouts with Glenda removing almost all of the stickers and weeds. The grass has really taken off now that it has a chance.

Can someone explain how the “views” thing works here on IRV2. This morning when I looked on my phone “life with Jane” was within a hundred or so of 295,000. That was from last night. It was almost 296 when I refreshed and right now it’s over 297,000. Does that mean we’ve had way too many people with too much time on their hands?

I hope y’all had as great a Thanksgiving Day as we did.

Anyone taking odds on Popeye and 2,000?

I can’t believe I slept in until 8 am. I missed all of the Black Friday sales.

Personally I’m aiming for post 2020. Not only is it the new year, it is also synonymous with seeing clearly.

We’re home sweet home Thereabouts Texas. We got in last night and today was a chill day. I ordered some stuff at Tractor Supply and then we picked them up and spent some time shopping.

We didn’t get everything done we wanted to in OKC, never do. But it was a very productive visit. One of the fixes was to install a receptacle and power plug on an electric oven. We pulled it out to level it and I found four twisted connections just begging for an oops and serious problem.

It looks like our weather is going to be good for the next ten days so we hope to get productive and get out of here, Yuma here we come.

6 ga four conductor power cord, good. Plug cut off and twist on connectors used, bad. Metal outlet box in wall, good. No four conductor 50 amp receptacle, bad. 2 #8 stranded coming in with a #10 solid for ground, ok but not the best. Considering the house was built in 1957 it’s as good as it’s going to get for now. We found the circuit breakers and threw them. I tugged on the cord similar to someone pulling the stove full out and instantly had two of the connections come apart, poor twist connections done badly. $35.00 later we had a new cord and the proper receptacle installed, good life got better.

Low thirties outside so I have some time inside before venturing out fo the day.

I looked back to a year ago to see if there was a difference.
