I have a 86 bounder that is still in great condition and should have a lot of years left in her. I have heard good things about maxilube as in 3 mpg better gas mileage, cooler running temps, and less wear on engines, transmissions, gensets. Has anyone tried It?

Boy Cuchk7, I sure hope this is true because better gas mileage anytime would be welcome. Look forward to people's answers.

you can check it out at maxilube.com. I think I'm going to give it a try and if I see no improvement the first time I'll be done but if its true it would be worth it.
Those are pretty big claims from something that you dump in the crankcase.
There have been many, many products before that have made the same claims, only to be debunked as snake oils.
I'm not saying this stuff is snake oil, but my gut tells me that you would be better off to put that money in your pocket and walk away.
However, it's your money, please spend it as you wish, I'm only giving an opinion.
Be careful with this. If this is a product that coats the metal with a Teflon type additive I used a similar product back a number of years ago and it coated the return passages from the heads enough that oil was pooling up around the valve springs and leaking down into the cylinders.
I've heard of Maxilube being used in the performance/racing field. Don't know about something like using in an older technology, heavy weight motorhome.
Still gotta be better than Superlube w/PTFE that clogged oil galleys and crank bearings with plastics.
Something else to look into is Water Wetter. I've heard good results on this product.
Used in Radiator to make the engine run cooler by absorbing the engine heat better to dispensate faster. That's a benefit right there when using the A/C on hot summer days.
Thanks for all the input. I have enough to do my motorhome so I'm going for it. I will repost when I go out after a weekend and see if anything changes.
