Anybody have a source for the metal strips that are screwed down to the exterior of the RV and the vinyl is positioned on the strips?

Thanks,
Randy

Welcome to the forum and the vintage forum!!

In our area there is four places that work on the older units and I have been in there dusty bins on more than one time at least! There is also a salvage yard that is only for rv's. They will sale anything they can for us rebuilding types. I don't know where you live but there is a list of places on the top of our vintage page. If that don't help ask again, and we will try and guide you to the right places.
Again, welcome to the forum and post your efforts!

I'm lost. I've gone to look for me. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait.

Its aluminum screw strip. Most RV suppliers carry it for doing repairs. The local shops here wanted $50 for a 16' piece. I wound up using a steel flashing material carried at Home Depot for around $2-3 a piece that was around 10 or so feet long. It comes in the shinny metal kind, brown and white. I used the white to redo the corner flashing on the back of the camper as the older aluminum stuff was beat to crap.
