MH Central Vac

We bought a 1982 Pace Arrow last season and the previous owner didn't tell us it had one. I found it one day after opening a door on the steps. Didn't look like it ever had been used. So I tried it and found out why it looked like new..."NO SUCTION" I am not going to give the brand but I have never liked them any way.
Fast forward to last week. While my partner was shampooing the carpet with our Hoover I again looked at the central vac and was thinking it doesn't work any way so why not take it out and use the area for canned good's. On the handle is a lever to unclog it I guess but it was clogged full I never looked at that last year. I got a tool out of the garage and pulled the clog out(at first I thought it was a dead mouse) but it wasn't, but there was a cigarette but in the clog. We know the past couple that owned it and they told us they quit smoking back in 1973 and the MH is a 82????
What are the chances that it was from the factory?
This will be the first time I have used this brand vacuum, and yes it has lot's of suction and we are going to retire the Oreck to the house.
A happy ending...

Better than 50/50 , particularly if there was only the one.
But you could always CSI it and do DNA testing.
