Great Job MT.
Thanks,

What kind of '64?

My Dad has a 1964 Impala SS convertible.

You'd need to build interior ramps for a car to clear the wheel wells. (I used blocks for the Suby).

You'd also take up 99% of your interior space with a long car!

The 2nd owner of a friend's UHaul is adding ramps to haul tuner cars:

I lost a post so here it is again just in case,
I showed Jo your thread and he was in awe also. Great Thread MT.
My sister had a 64 Impala SS Convert, Red/Blk interior Black top. I remember it like yesterday. I chipped one of my front tooth on the frame while changing the exhaust system on it.. Wrench slipped and Tooth to steel, Well, not a good look.
Anyways here's my 64,
Thanks again,
Tim,
"Turn Up The Radio" is playing while waiting to upload Photos. Great tune,

Thanks Guys,
I looked for the right one for 8 years and have had her 5 years. Lots of car show's. Unfortunately it's got to go if we are going full time. I thought about a inclosed trailer to bring her with but it would have to be a trailer as long as the MH.
I got a idea from MT's U-Haul re-do, but the ramps would need to b pretty long so her tail don't drag going in.
Have a great day,
Tim

I'm taken, but I'm sure there are some days my wifey would be happy to give me up.

My "creativity" and "innovation" are more than idle hobbies. I MUST build things. It drives my wifey nuts. She hates that I always have incomplete projects around, and that I'm always looking for fixer-upper projects instead of buying new things. I like to hit flea markets and dumpster dive, and shop at the metals recycling yard and auto salvage yards.

I was midway through several of these projects last week when she walked into the MH and suggested we sell it.

(she's pretty excited now that the reality of our Utah spring break trip and 8 days of sunshine is near!!)

Did I mention I can cook?

I had a neighbor at.my old neighborhood who loved his old Cadillac so much that when he retired he and the wife bought a 1 ton crew cab dually Duramax truck and this monster 5 er to go full timing in. He drove the pickup hauling the camper trailer and Vanita, his wife, followed behind in the old white Cadillac.
They kept their S&B and moved one of their daughters and her family in it to keep it up.

Then poured, plumbed and wired in a slab next to the house with a door into the den so when they came home to visit they could keep living in the 5 er and not disrupt the daughters family routine by being inside all the time.

Should you cross paths with them their names are Tommy and Vanita Walker.
Great people and Tommy can fix anything.
Humble folks too.

It has long been rumored that my twin and I were seperated at birth. Now I know it's true. I have the same compulsions/likes/skills/drive. We seem to have married twins as well.

DW does go on a bit about the projects. But she don't mind one bit when they are done and she gets to use them.
