Those just keep jars and stuff secure while traveling. My '88 Jamboree had the same fingers in the Dometic fridge. Actually a pretty good idea that works well.

Well, winter is practically among us here in MN. average of 30 degrees now. Its gonna be a slow process through winter. The RV is in storage til spring but I am having all of my chrome pieces triple plated to show chrome finish and all of my aluminum parts stripped of anodization and buffed to a mirror finish. I have about 1/3 of the parts back from the Chrome Guy. He does absolutely stunning work. I will set the pieces out and take a few pics for you all to see. The exterior went from flat satin to top of the line Chrome plating and Aluminum Polishing. Photos coming this weekend. Even polished the gas cap.

I agree keep it Original. Looks so cool,
really like too see the pics of the chrome, maybe even find out who you found to do it. I have some chrome on my 82 PA and my 64 caddie That I would like too have redone.
Interesting,
Tim

Not quite all done and some parts aren't put together, but here are some shots of my newly chromed parts, my buffed out stainless steel and my anodized aluminum parts that i preferred polished, so a lot of aluminum polishing.

Door Handle. This seems to be the desirable door handle, so I chromed it.

Tapered grills are for the front corners and the smaller grills are for the rear corners for side marker lights. They started out as painted pot metal. Not too shabby.

Side view mirrors. The bodies are stainless steel and the rest is chrome plating. Now I can work on getting replacement glass and weatherstrippings.

Headlight bezels. So they had a little reaction and got a few bubbles where they soldered up the pits as you can see. They are going to rechrome them again and make all the pits go away. I told them the front end is the crown jewel and I can't have bubbles and pits. Nothing they did, just happened as chrome does that sometimes.
