There is some rust on the contacts where the bulbs go in, but I don't think that's the real problem here. I'm gonna try cleaning those and maybe getting new bulbs, and if that doesn't work then who knows?
Grab a 12 volt test light and check voltage on both sides of the fuse. After that check for voltage at one of the clearance lights. Could also be a bad ground issue. I'll bet there are some old rusty connections going on.

77Travco is probably right about the ground issue. but also look for corrosion issues where wires are crimped. I once lost all the overhead lights across front and after much testing and searching found a badly corroded connection where the power started to feed all of those lights. Good luck.

I too am in the multimeter camp. With older stuff you have to start tracing the wiring back until you find the issue.

This is something I forgot to post on Monday. On that day I had been planning on bringing the motorhome to the shop to have my engine problems diagnosed, but the lady there told me that it was a really bad day for them, and they had been overbooked with projects from last week. So ended up just driving the motorhome to school that day. It actually ended up being really popular. None of the teachers had ever seen a student show up in a motorhome before, and a lot of the other kids liked it and wanted to check it out. It also ended being a really big hit at lunch. My friends ordered pizza and we all ended up eating in there.Click image for larger version

Today I brought the motorhome back to the shop. I already knew most of what was wrong with it, and they told me what my priorities should be and what the costs would be to fix them. I'm starting off with my power steering pump. I noticed a few days ago that it was puking all over the ground, so I'm having that replaced tommorow. In terms of my burnt valves, she told me that it effects performance, but that I should be safe to drive it the way it is until I get that fixed. My transmission coolant lines are also bad, but that's something I'm gonna replace myself since it's such a simple and easy job.

Just for a quick reference, most any glass shop can cut you a piece of laminated glass for your windshield if you ever need it , nothing special as they are flat ! I cut many for rvs, old cars and heavy equipment when I had my shop! Good Luck and have fun , your doing fine!

Thanks! I hope I never have to replace the windshield, but if I do that's good to know!

It's been a little while since I've done a real update, so here's one now.
The Titan has been running like a dream, and I've hardly done anything to it! I've replaced the power steering pump since it was puking all over the ground, and I still need to get the exhaust valves worked on, but other than that it's been doing great! I've been taking it on all sorts of trips into town for various things and I haven't had any issues what so ever. It's been staying cool, even in rush hour traffic in 90° heat, and to my surprise it even pulls up hills really really well! And I finally got it fully registered and everything, so other than my clearance light issues the Titan is now 100% legal for the road, which is a great feeling. But since winter is coming I'm going to wait until next year to actually get the exhaust valves done. I don't plan on taking it out much more this year anyways since it's been getting colder, and it's about time for me to throw a tarp over the roof before the next snowfall. But I'll try to keep you all updated on whatever happens next.Click image for larger version

I love them too! Except a giant flat faced box driving down the road doesn't exactly help my fuel economy, lol!

Yesterday was pretty fun for me! I finally managed to get the Titan into my backyard where I have electrical hookups for RVs. But first I had to get the other Titan running again to move it out of the way, which was a whole big thing on it's own, then I had to get a dead Cadillac out of the way. But after that I plugged in the Titan and almost everything works! The rooftop ac blows ice cold, the heater works, most of the interior lights come on, the water pump seems to work, and I have power going to all of my outlets! I was stoked seeing the inside of that thing come to life for the first time. Next I'll be getting my propane tank safety inspected and hopefully be able to get it filled so that I can test out my stove and the gas part of my fridge. I'm starting to get to a point with this motorhome that it will mostly be small things or cosmetic things to work on, like repairing the outside trim, painting the fenders, and eventually replacing the carpet and stuff like that.Attachment 264588Click image for larger version

Since I was moving vehicles around yesterday, I also finally managed to get the picture I've always wanted of my two Titans next to each other. You can see that from afar the front ends look the same, but there's about a million very subtle differences between them when you look closer.Click image for larger version
